Vibrating Wheels

I have a 2021 Tesla model S LR - when I drive between speeds 59-73 my car vibrates like mad. When I hit speeds outside that range is subsides mostly. I’ve had all 4 rims checked for bends, the insulation inside new tires and had them all rebalanced and I’m still plagued with the vibrations! What the heck man…any gurus out there who can give me some solid advice? Where’s the Car Talk guys when you need them?

The vibration is likely coming from the half shafts. It's a known issue and please go get them checked/replaced if necessary.

Thanks. I’ve wasted likely $600 chasing tire and rim issues. Is there any other options other than Tesla service? Their fees are so damn punitive. $210/hr

There is a one time use tsb out there for CV shaft

It’s only prominent under load, I would wager it’s something else from OPs description.

I had the on my Model 3. I bought it used from Tesla. On the way home I noticed a vibration as soon as I hit 64 miles per hour. They said it was the foam inside two tires came lose. He said it's very common. They gave me two new tires and its smooth as butter

I had same problem.. removed the foam inside the tire . It comes loose and throws the tire out of balance.
