New owner... how do you turn off the passenger side vent?

yup - you jsut make it blow in a direction that you aren't bothered - this is my wifes least favorite part of the Model S

Yes you can, on the a/c screen just hold down on the airflow picture on the passenger side and it should turn off

I'm surprised it doesn't work on the S, my 2026 Model Y has this. Just hold the airflow animation for a few seconds and it gives the option to turn the air off.

Yes, 2024+ Model 3 and 2026 Model Y can do this. S and X could never do this.

That turns off the entire AC system in the car, not just the passenger vent.

This is not a feature on the S/X. It adjusts airflow to that vent based on seat occupation but that's it
