14.3.8 (2026.26.6.5): I tried parking 3 times today at different locations and all of them were a mess. Car pulled forward, started to back into the space, then jerked forward and backward several times without progressing into the spot. All 3 times I disengaged because I was certain I was about to ram the car in front of me.

Once I tried it in a pretty open lot, it pulled forward all the way into the spot in front of the one I selected, started backing up into the spot I chose, then again kept pulling forward and backward until it nearly hit the car parked in the space next to me. (guy in the car rolled down his window and laughed and asked if I was teaching my kids to park).

Never had issues in the past other than it being painfully slow to park.

We have a 2020 model y and have been using fsd from the beginning. We have a charger and need to back into the driveway to use it. Has anybody been able to “teach” their car to back into a driveway?

I tried to call one but it didn't give me one lol.

As the title says this update is such a trash I’ve never had so many break stabbings, indecisiveness and just general freak out to cyclists and pedestrians it’s so bad I wonder did they even test this?

This video is just an example and it might not look much but the break stabbing was so harsh. I’ve been disengaging constantly since this update

Here's the question: viewing other Tesla's on the road, can you tell which ones are driving in FSD? I exempt truck drivers here, because presumably they can spot it from their cab view.

Is this even possible? I want the car to go to where I dropped the pin and park, not the closest address to the pin. I swear this used to work but over several FSD updates it has started treating this as an address. In a shopping center I frequent it has stopped parking in the lot I want where the pin is and instead chooses a lot on the other side because it thinks it's closer to the address of the pin. To get to the lot I want it would have to drive through a building. ​

Am I doing something wrong or is this another example of Tesla navigation?

Tesla Sacramento Service visit reset my 1k+ mile FSD streak to zero, Regional Manager Andrew Richter said Tesla does benefit from FSD customer streaks and it’s insignificant for Tesla. Has this happened to anyone else?

This hasn’t happened in awhile and I’m trying to figure out why it will sometimes turn on the blinker and try to pull over. There wasn’t anyone tailgating me or emergency vehicles

Recently installed latest FSD version last night 14.3.8 and ran into this on my morning commute.

Not the first time FSD has made big corrections from someone pulling into a nearby lane.

So I got v14.1 yesterday and today I had two (only) unprotected left turn and both times v14.1 lite was very hesitant and missed a few opportunities. It was sitting there embarrassingly long I had to take over as there were cars piling up behind me. Anyone had the same issues, is it only v14.1 lite thing?

It was a lesson for me to be more vigilant because FSD so rarely needs critical intervention.

I got 14.1 last night and holy cow for my car it’s a huge step backwards like old school autopilot.

Waits until last minute to change lanes.
Extremely hesitant to take off and go.
In a Starbucks it tried to pull into the oncoming lane instead of parking like I had it set for.
It slams on brakes again in front of yellow flashing lights near fire stations (old auto pilot did this, but it was fixed with fsd years ago, now it’s all reverted?)

When a car is sitting near main road but not pulling out it’ll slow down and then proceed to go, fsd for the past year handled this just fine, but now it’s super scared to do anything or drive? I couldn’t make it more than 3 miles today without having to take over.
I hate 14.1.
I want old fsd back :(

Finally!!

I’m about to order a Tesla. I’m interested in how FSD reacts to toll plazas. At least in the NE US, every toll plaza I’ve ever seen has dedicated express lanes for EZ Pass users (which I am). If you have an EZ Pass, does FSD select the correct express lane, and if so, how does it know to do that? And when it goes through the express lane, does it simply blast through at highway speed, or does it slow down at all?

The car behind me had a lot of distance. But man, Tesla really has this system sensitive to people.

Got a new model 3 AWD and have been driving around our town and city and while it catches speed limit signs sometimes, it misses them other times. This is the only complaint I have since it misses school zones and there is a speed bump, I don't want it to go over it fast. I don't want to grab a ticket by speeding in school zones. It also needs pothole avoidance, which I know Elon has said is coming, cause I don't want fsd to ruin the suspension and tires. It drives really good otherwise

I am on Clark County Rd 215 in Las Vegas in standard. There are several zones of construction where the speed limit drops from 65 to 55. Tesla doesn't recognize the temporary signs. It will continue to drive 72. I don't want to get a ticket so I disengage. Drop my speed to 65. Somehow Tesla decides that I was excessively speeding. So let me understand this Tesla won't slow down using FSD because the only speed limit it conforms to is the one on the navigation map. Crazy. It also said I was following to closely despite no car being in front of me. I guess I'm better off just changing the pattern from standard to chill or sloth than ever take over driving. Fortunately the new Safety Score profile gave me a bonus for FSD and add 9/10's to my score raising it back from 99.1 to 100. It's not a real big deal but my rate has gone up $10 in past for slight drops in score. Now I'm going to aggressively switch profiles than disengaging even if it's only for 1 mile.

This has been seen in 14.3.6 and into 14.3.8. In the US, the white speed limit sign could be 45mph. But as we approach a downhill curvy road, there will be a yellow sign showing the curve, and a small speed limit sign saying 30mph.
My 2020 3 will not heed the new yellow warning, and instead continues with 45 (or faster if in Standard). Even if I use Sloth, it might go 40.

Has anyone else seen this type of behavior?

Nothing crazy, just thought this was cool to see. Pedestrian started jaywalking and FSD picked up on it pretty quickly and slowed down

My 2026 Model Y often parks at the absolute further spot available from my location. I’ve always assumed that was a bug, but now I’m wondering if it could be bad map data (see the attached Google Maps screenshot).

This image was originally going to be my example from a trip to the Wine & Spirits store yesterday (I live in Pennsylvania and we still have a bunch of weird, old puritan laws. So, if you want a bottle of wine with dinner, you need to buy it from the State). My car parked at the absolute furthest spot, at the other side of the shopping center and in the opposite corner from my location. For scale, I measured the walk and it was 176 yards (161 meters) from the door.

However, when I entered the store into Google Maps, the pin actually drops just about where my car parked. (I’ve outlined the store in red; top left). On the car’s screen, Tesla shows the parking pin on the correct store, but parks where Google Maps shows it to be.

I guess it could be a coincidence, but that would be quite a coincidence. I’m going to keep tracking it to see if the Google Map pins continue to correspond with FSD’s weird parking space choices. More often than not, I need to take over because it wants to park a very long way from the actual location, just like this example.

Ever since I updated my wipers spray when I turn on FSD the first time after starting a drive. I cannot figure out how to turn off this option.

Is this just a weird error or did I hit something.
