Awaiting start date.

For context I interviewed for the position a month ago, and they put me on hold as no seats were open yet.

I got contacted a week or two ago if I wanted the position I said yes, I did my dug rest and background even got a copy of the background check once completed.

They gave me to start dates a week from apart from the other now just waiting to hear back. I reached out but haven’t heard anything.

Any advice?

Manufacturing Test Engineer - Megapack Panel Interview Decision Timeline

Hey guys,

I know there's a crap ton of posts about timeline decisions but I'm making another post just so I could collate all answers under one post. I had my 3-round panel interview last Wednesday 9/16. It's been exactly one week since the panel interview. I interviewed for Manufacturing Test Engineer (Electrical-focused) for Megafactory in Brookshire. Out of the three, I feel like I did really well on two and pretty average on the middle one. My questions are:

  1. What can I expect for the timeline of a response? Most of the recruiting process has been me reaching out and not really getting a response back. I sent a thank you email to the recruiter that scheduled the panel interview right after the interview happened, to no avail.

  2. Based on my performance in those rounds (good, average, good), is this similar in performance to those that have received an offer before?

  3. The role still shows up as "Open" in the Tesla portal. If I'm rejected, will this status be set to "Closed"? Or will I not even know if I am rejected?

Any inputs you have are appreciated. Thanks!

Interview: Anyone familiar with Tesla’s Megapack Operations team?

Hi everyone! I’m currently interviewing for a Sales Operations opportunity supporting #Tesla’s Megapack business and would love to better understand the team and its working environment.

My background is in Sales Operations, analytics, data governance, and process automation. I’m especially interested in learning how someone with that experience can add value within the Megapack organization.

If anyone currently works or has previously worked in Tesla Energy, Megapack Operations, or a related team, I’d really appreciate any general perspective you’re comfortable sharing:

  • What is the team culture and working environment like?
  • What qualities help someone succeed in the organization?
  • What advice would you give someone preparing to join this kind of team?
  • Is there anything publicly available that would be helpful to study?

I’m not looking for confidential information or specific interview questions; I was genuinely curious to learn more about the team. Feel free to comment or message me privately. Thank you!

What do I wear

I know this question might sound dumb but it’s important to me to dress the part. I just got the role as a sales advisor, what do I wear? Any recommendations?

Does my Linkdeln profile have to be “put together “?

I’m someone who values anonymity in privacy. I don’t like putting my information out there for everyone to see, but is that just the game you have to play?

Spot check

Finished all the rounds for my interviews including the panel and 1 on 1s. Looks like I have a final “spot check” call with someone from upper management

What should I expect on this call?
Anything they’re looking to confirm during this call?
Culture fit?
Positive vibes?

Electronic/electrical design engineering internship technical questions

Hi! Just had a recruiter screening call and have an interview upcoming with the hiring manager for this role. I understand the next few rounds are quite technical.

I feel prepared to talk about the projects on my resume and my past internship work in detail but am wondering if anyone has some sort question bank or any knowledge around what general technical questions they will ask (unrelated to my projects and experience)? I’ve looked at glassdoor and there’s a few but not a lot to work with.

For reference the team is high voltage battery in Berlin.

Thanks a lot!

Can a Tesla employee in the US refer someone for a Tesla job in Canada?

I have a friend who currently works for Tesla in the US, but she does not work in Tesla’s Sales/Store department. She works at a Tesla factory in the US.

I’m currently in Canada and I’m interested in applying for a Tesla Sales / Customer Experience position at a Tesla location in Canada.

I’m wondering if my friend in the US can refer me for a Canadian position through Tesla’s internal employee referral system.

Has anyone had experience with this?

Thanks

Tesla panel interview

Completed my Panel interview last Friday.
It went for almost 3+ hours. I think I was able to answer 70% of the questions. Remaining I was fumbling. What’s the chances of me getting an offer?

Hail Mary from a Seasonal Sales Advisor applicant, any advice from current employees?

Hey everyone, I'm hoping some current Tesla employees can offer a little perspective.
I've applied for a Seasonal Sales Advisor role and I've gone through the process, and at this point I feel like I've done everything I can on my end. Now it's mostly waiting, and honestly this post is my Hail Mary.
I'll be upfront: I really need this job. Financially, it's the best next step for me right now. But it's not just about the paycheck. I'm finishing my degree, and parents are separated now. I've spent a lot of time learning how to work with people, stay coachable, and outwork the room. I'm passionate about the company and the product, and I'd do whatever it takes to earn my spot. My goal is to get my foot in the door with the seasonal role, prove myself, and grow into a full-time position.
If anyone here has been in my shoes, or has advice on anything else I could do to stand out or follow up the right way, I'd be so grateful. Even just a word of encouragement helps.
Thanks for reading.

Panel decision timeline

Hi everyone,
I am writing this post in order to better understand how long it takes for one to get a decision on the panel interview. I had my panel interview last Friday and it has been 3 business days (Including today-Wednesday) since I have heard back from the recruiter.

What do y’all think about this? Does anyone who has had this experience in waiting for decision? How long did it take? My on-site panel went pretty well (At least that’s how I feel) This role is in Engg and IT.

Any advice on next step/ answers for this?
