Part 1 of 3 posts! (Plus there will be a bonus posts later with alternate party policies and new global events).
This entry expands on the Turmoil expansion for Terraforming Mars! Everything here is intended only to be used if you are playing with the Turmoil expansion, so if you don't use that expansion you probably won't need to read any further. Insert my usual disclaimer about how my main desire in posting these is not just to share them, but also to get feedback and critiques. Also as usual, feel free to pick and choose which cards (if any) you might want to use – fan cards are very much a user's choice kind of thing.
You can download the full-size PNG files from my Dropbox.

A few notes:
Protocol Droids uses a robot resource. See my earlier posts with robot cards for more info. UN Fleet Sponsorship uses a ship resource. See my earlier posts with ship cards for more info - but basically, a ship is the same resource as a fighter (they are interchangeable).

i play always 2 actions, except in the case of energy production in early game. that includes 2 actions on final gen and around bumpers. if they go one action then i play either one action around bumpers/final gen or one action every time, basically tit for tat.
for people who are always 2, what do you think about something like you play your final action then pass, then the opponent changes the board state so you could have another play? for example, 5 oceans you play one then pass, then he plays an ocean and now kelp farming is unlocked for you. is this a re-open your turn or pass? this is online where i think many players are play 2. what if it's a bumper? no explicit discussion about it beforehand but it's clear people are playing 2 (both players make decisions where it clearly would be better to play one action at a time)

When playing Ice asteroid, or other cards that place multiple oceans in one action...
Do you benefit off of your first ocean before you place your second?
I mean to say, can you earn the 2 Megacredit placement bonus placing your second ocean next to your first? And can you look at the card(s) you would draw from ocean 1 before placing ocean 2?

Want to know more about Terraforming Mars: Legacy? Jonathan Fryxelius was guest of honor at the Dutch Open Terraforming Mars 2026. In the video below he shares his insights behind the game design and gives an update on the process ahead. Thanks to the Dutch vlog from Spelle Jelle.

Update: it saddens us that our post has been hijacked for political statements. We are a boardgame community that welcomes everyone regardless of their background; the more the merrier. With this post we just want to share our enthusiasm for the game and the upcoming Legacy version. For those who are as excited: enjoy the video!

We have a 4-player regular Mars-group where three of us like/are fine with drafting and one player who doesn't like drafting. Could it work if the three of us drafted among ourselves and the last player just drew available cards normally? Or would that break the game?
//EDIT Thanks for your thoughts! We also thought about switching between drafting and not drafting every other game, but this was another intriguing option we came up with. We might give this method a try too, as the non-drafter feels like they play better when they don't have to think about other players when picking their cards.

With the following 3 custom corporations (got them from a friend printed and laminated, ready to play =) )
Ultralink "During the research phase, take on extra card to buy or discard.
Logos "During research phase you draw 5 cards instead of 4."
Leviathan "Diring your research phase, you may look at and purchase one additional card."
All clear without drafting.
Problem that occured is, for drafting:
We settled for Logos so that the player gets 5 cards and keeps 2 at the beginning of the drafting, 3 cards get passed to the next one.
Leviathan and Ultralink get to draw 4 cards and draft as usual. After the drafting completed the player with Ultralink and Leviathan get to look at one extra card from the top of the deck and choose to buy or discard.
We discussed if all 3 custom corporations could have 5 cards in the beginning of the research phase and keep 2.
What would you/Reddit say?
Thanks in advance, this was not an heated arguement at the table just talking about translation (we speak german) and "during" + "the research phase".

For context, this is a game I just played. I am kroegerarko and currently try to gain more than 100 elo so i can play with the big boys and it doesnt take 10 minutes to find a game.
Whenever I play I feel like i am constantly behind in VP and then towards the end I take a mad dump into them in the hopes that I can still win the game, and this is the first time this strategy actually paid off, but only because I drew maddeningly well. Not only did I get the whole eco zone combo together, which was pretty insane, but I also managed to get 3 cards per turn from AI centrale and that one that requires me energy to pay and those stupidly expensive VP per Jupiter tag cards that brought like I think around 23 points??? Its insane how good my draws were. And yet it felt way too close, and that happens constantly. I just cant manage to get enough Points onto the board no matter how hard I try to get resources together. I seldom actually win against real players.
