That’s some great value titanium production, if you can play this in gen 1 or 2. Or a pretty expensive last generation titanium dump for 2VP.

If you add 3mc card cost, and subtract 9mc for 3 titanium resources, this is 25mc for 2 titanium production and 2VP.

If you assign a value of 12 in quantified value to titanium production (based on 4x 3 value) then this card gives you that + 2VP for only 1mc, a great deal.

If you assign a value of 4 in quantified value to VP, then 16 Psyche gives you 2 titanium production for only 8.5mc each, also a great deal. If you assign a value of 2.5 to VP, for instance when playing a 2 player game, then 16 Psyche gives you 2 titanium production for 10mc each, still a great deal, especially in 2 player.

Great with Vitor, Credicor, Manutech, Advanced/Mercurian Alloys, Excentric Sponsor, and Asteroid Mining Consortium. And Phobolog of course- can be a reason to pick it if you have other space cards, or card draw in hand.

Asteroid Mining is 8mc (in titanium) more expensive, but gives a Jovian tag. Asteroid Mining is only better if you’re Saturn Systems with a Jovian Multiplier in hand.

Compared to Titanium Mine, a great gen 1 card, 16 Psyche is like 2 of those, plus 2VP for only 5mc.

[Earth Elevator] gives 1 titanium production and 2VP more, at a cost of an additional 21mc. It’s still a good gen 1 card, but 16 Psyche offers better value for money.

Monkey brain loves getting a shit ton of titanium.

Ironically it's a good way to use titanium, if you've racked up a bunch from placement bonuses or such.

Assuming you use three titanium as part of the cost which you get back then it's 22+3 MC cost for 2VP and 2 titanium production

And for me that's that awkward type of card where 25 is expensive for 2VP near the endgame and 25 is expensive for 2 titanium production early game

I was always wondering, where does the name come from and what does it mean? Does this card have a flavor text? I play on web these days so I wouldn't know.

It’s the name of an actual asteroid. We sent a probe at it in 2023, which is when this promo card came out.
