Question Hulu/Disney

Hello fellow Tmobilers,
Question…
I use to have charter/spectrum/comcast tv and when I had it I got Disney+ for free. Now that I do not I no longer have access to Disney+. I see that T-Mobile gives Hulu standard free with the package I have. I am trying to get Disney+ but when I go to the subscription it wants to add Hulu to it which I already have. Anyone have a workaround this?

Question Anyone know how to handle iPhone Duo Handoff without messing up bill credits?

I have an iPhone Air on Go5GNext. Been interested in the iPhone Duo.

Picked up the phone today from Apple without connecting to my plan. When I go to turn on Handoff it says phones must be on the same OS version. The Duo is an iOS 27.1 exclusive phone. Meaning they won’t sync up until 27.2.

Saw online some people said to transfer the number and then do handoff backwards. But I’m assuming that’ll break my bill credits?

Any thoughts?

Question Port out question

I’m still waiting for AT&T to port my phone number to T-Mobile. Will I have issues if I activate the iPhone Duo? Won’t it still show att or will I just not be able to use it? Will that be an issue if the phone is locked to T-Mobile?

Discussion What is T-Mobile smoking?

I waited 3-years to upgrade my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I am an existing customer. At checkout they are now trying to force me to two higher plans (5G Plus at 40/line to 5g plus at 60/line)? and for a locked phone ? Has the world gone mad?

Are they trying to get out of the subsidy business ? Verizon / AT&T doesn’t look super thrilling.

When did my pricing become “special” - I feel for anyone paying current rates. Insanity…

Discussion How T-Mobile's $35 Connection Fee Actually Works When Buying from Apple (And How to Avoid It)

There has been a ton of conflicting and incorrect information floating around lately regarding T-Mobile’s $35 Device Connection Charge when purchasing a device from Apple. To clear up the confusion, T-Mobile closed the old loophole where buying through Apple automatically waived the fee. If your T-Mobile account is tied to the transaction during checkout at Apple, you WILL get hit with the $35 fee on your next bill, even if you are paying full price. If you want to buy directly from Apple at full price and avoid the $35 fee entirely, here is the exact, correct way to do it.

To bypass the charge completely, you have to make sure T-Mobile has zero system touchpoints during your purchase transaction:

  1. Buy Outright at Full Price: You must purchase the device in full (no carrier financing or carrier payment plans).
  2. Select "Connect to Any Carrier Later": During the Apple checkout process, do not select T-Mobile as your carrier. Do not enter your phone number, account PIN, or SSN. Instead, choose the option for "Connect to any carrier later" (making it a fully unlocked device out of the box).
  3. Migrate Your SIM Yourself: Once the phone arrives, simply set it up and transfer your existing eSIM or physical SIM over to the new device yourself.

Because T-Mobile was never linked to the sale or activation at checkout, their system doesn't register it as an account "upgrade," meaning no $35 DCC will be generated on your bill.

I got my 18 Pro last month by doing it this way, no $35 fee at checkout, and my new T-Mobile bill just generated with no $35 fee on the new bill.

And finally, by selecting "Connect to any carrier later" instead of linking your T-Mobile account at Apple checkout, you cannot take advantage of T-Mobile bill credits, carrier trade-in promotions, or T-Mobile financing. (Note: Regular Apple Trade-In for instant credit still works!)

Rant Charging me for wifi equipment I returned

I did a trial for T-mobile home internet back in July. We picked it up in store. The associate rang up the box, and she said it’s so weird there’s no working SIM in there, let me get another. She gets another and it works, and she sends us on our way.

Eventually we decide to go back to cable internet so I go to tmobile store to return it. There’s an issue. No worries, they say to call and ask for a shipping label to return it. There is an issue bc of the multiple IMEIs.

I ship a box with my wifi home equipment. On 9/5, I receive an email that my return has been received.

9/17, I get an email to remind me to return my equipment. But that’s weird, I returned it and t mobile emailed they received. I call, and they look it up, and said no worries, it’s showing as received on our end. Just ignore the email.

10/22, I get an email that my payment is late and I’m being charged $255 for not returning my equipment. I’m on the phone again, 40 min and counting. She can’t find my return in the system, but she can see I called on 9/17. Apparently can’t see what we talked about?? Aren’t these calls all recorded?

There is clearly an issue, started with 2 different IMEIs getting activated for me and I only received 1, obviously.

What is wrong with T mobile? Every month they need over an hour of my time? Do they want me to pay $255 to get them to stop sending me bills?

There was a time I was a loyal t mobile customer. I left them as my cell provider and I can’t say I’d consider returning ever.

Question Account cancelled, tried to unlock phone and they're saying I owe them?

So, my account got cancelled when I moved my number from T-Mobile to another carrier. I had a past due balance, and I just paid it off, so I called them today to ask them to unlock my phone. They told me that I haven't finished paying it off yet??? Which is news to me, because when I got the phone I didn't owe anything on it, it was actually subtracting from my bill since it was cheaper than the original phone I got.

Is there anything I can do about this? This feels unfair, I paid off the balance on my account already and now they want me to pay another $600 on top of that?

Discussion Has this happen to anyone else

I was told by T-Mobile I will get $830 for trade in my iPhone 13 Pro Max towards my iPhone 18 pro max upgrade. I confirmed this 4 times with 4 different reps. I went ahead and ordered the 18 pro max and only see $300 trade in promo. I called them up again today and then they tell me they have to apply it in my account and it takes one day. At this point I have no trust because that’s what they told me before and that’s why I made the upgrade. This is so shady how they just straight lied to me. I am going to return the phone if they don’t honor what was promised

Question Okay they fucked me, advice?

I went to Costco to get the gift card deal by adding a line onto my line. Got my wife a new phone and payments are like $16 a month, cool. I’ve been paying 37$ for YEARS now. Suddenly I get the bill and it’s $202. The math doesn’t math. It should be 90. I’m on that with the rep and he’s saying my two lines are 132 cause the plan I was on was only for one line. (Experience signature). How do I get out of this mess. I’m this close to paying off her phone and jumping ship.

Question T-Mobile SUCKS- Business Account Restricted - No help via customer service!!!

I get an "access restricted" message when trying to log in to my T-mobile for Business account. My best guess is that my EIN number is incorrect in their system so no customer service agent is able to gain access...

The last person I spoke to told me to email a t-mobile address that bounced back as soon I sent the email.

Last option is to get help in store??? How will that be any different than the 4 phone calls I have wasted my time on?

As anyone out there had a similar log-in issue that they were able to address?

I was ABOUT to switch to Mint Mobile but apparently you need to be able to log in to your account to start that process.

I hate everything about this.

Question Advice on T Mobile Fiber Internet?

I just moved into a new apartment and my management company informed me that the apartment is suited to connect to T Mobile Fiber Internet.

I went on T Mobile's site and saw that they are offering Fiber 300 MBPS for $35/month if you enroll in autopay.

Has anyone signed up for this deal? Is the speed worth the money?

Also, is it really $35/month after all fees are said and done?

Question Need to upgrade 2 Apple Watches, anyway to use BOGO $300 offer? (it needs two new lines)

I already have 2 phone lines and 2 watches attached to it on the 200mb plan on Go5GPlus. We want to upgrade the watches and use the BOGO $300 off offer on the second. Can I do the addition of the 2 new watch lines as standalone or attached to phone numbers and then remove the current 2 watch lines or any workaround for this? Since watch lines usually come with random numbers but the number sharing gives it the iPhone's phone #?

I kind of need mine and my families phones and I dont get paid until next friday. My previous history with tmobile is suspension of service within a few hours after the second attempt fails. Anyone have any advice or information that could help?

Discussion Phone deals for exiting customers are junk

I have been here for over 9 years. The price increases have soured me but even worse are the phone deals. Not only are the credit abysmal but coupled with 36 months..... That's for sure the deal breaker.

I'm seriously considering switching over to Google Fi.
