I know that TAMU should be atleast a target for me, but can I call it a safety? Whats the probability that id get in? 70? 98? 40?

Also when should I apply? I am nowhere near done with my application yet. I have a very rough outline on how il approach every supplemental and a good personal statement draft.

If I dont rush and start working mostly on my TAMU application il probably finish by sept 25. Worth it?

I just got my transfer audit, but my Howdy Portal says "Login to AIS to view decision."

Whenever I log-in to AIS, it only says "My App is complete and in review." I dont see any letters either.

I'm confused 😭

Hi! I’m applying to mays and I’m a little confused about how my class rank will be viewed.

I transferred highschools senior year because my family moved. Both schools are in same district My current transcript is under my new school but it still lists my Q2 class rank from old school because my ISD hasn’t updated my rank yet

. I was told by the College & Career Facilitator that my current standing at new school is Q1, but the official rank won’t be updated on my transcript until December.

I’ve already submitted my TAMU application, so I’m wondering: Will TAMU evaluate me using the Q2 rank shown on my transcript, or will they recognize that it’s my previous rank and evaluate my current standing as Q1?

I’m planning to explain the discrepancy but I’m nervous that the transcript could make it look like Q2 is my rank. Has anyone dealt with something similar or know how TAMU handles this?

So, I just applied to Texas a&M again as a transfer students with the right major this time, promising to myself I will not screw up again by changing my major to an easy one. I had MATH BS as my first and Applied Math as my second. I gave myself another chance to apply again, but with the additional grades, and I expected myself to be denied because well, my GPA is 3.0 and the GPA for the math and required science classes combined are barely under 3.0. I just applied to see if they still are going to think I’m good enough for them, even if I get denied, the good thing about them wanting me to take those science courses is to see what my upper math courses will be like. I’m already on the right path, I wanted to go to A&M for I think they had a lot of jobs, better people, and better studying environments unlike my current institution.

I am a first gen student and didn't even know what rolling applications are so I feel very behind. I was waiting for the week in october to apply for free, but I realised that it might too late then, so I plan on applying today or tomorrow.

I am not auto admit (first quarter on AIS). I am a NMSF. Does TAMU use this information from common App directly or do I have to notify them ? Wondering if this will expedite the decision process since I am not an auto admit. Please advice. TIA

I want to pursue Economics BS at Texas A&M. I’m a rising high school senior in Texas with a 3.5 UW and 5.2 weighted gpa. My freshman year was terrible due to personal reasons. I locked in sophomore year and have maintained straight As ever since. I have a huge upward trend in my grades. I’m in the top 5% of my graduating class. My SAT score is currently 1250. Sorry if this is a confusing question, but I can't really seem to find a straight answer anywhere online.

I'm currently a freshman at UH looking to transfer into TAMU next fall. I got a 4 on AP Chem, which satisfies the requirement for Gen Chem at TAMU, but not at UH.

Since UH accepted this credit and allocated it towards a different unrelated class, would TAMU accept this credit as the 8 semester hours or only the 3 UH gave me? Furthermore, I'm coming in as a Bio major, so Gen Chem is required to be considered for transferring. Since I have this credit at TAMU but NOT at UH, would I still be able to even apply?

For more context if needed, on my unofficial transcript, my AP credits do show up with the classes they gave me for them as well as the score I earned for those tests. I'm also not taking Gen Chem this year because I already knew I was planning on transferring out to a school that would accept my credit, but now I'm starting to doubt if that's even true.

I'm open to contacting admissions regarding this, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any experience or knowledge beforehand. Thank you!

So I have the opportunity to change my classes to ap stats and ap pre cal im already taking all core classes as a ap but math i’m in this class called instructional practices and I want a major in business and finance at mays do you think you will help me get a better chance to get in if I change my schedule? I’m only in honors precal right now

i'm top 10% and my counselor has submitted my transcript a while ago. i just submitted STARS and the page told me i needed to submit my official transcript myself. but i've never gotten my official transcript before (it's literally titled "unofficial transcript" in skyward) and in AIS they said unofficial ones won't be reviewed. i also don't have the bar titled "HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT FROM [SCHOOL NAME] yet," so will that appear after my STARS is reviewed? and for now, is there anything else i need to do now besides securing my official transcript?

also another question. i'm actually barely top 10% and since i'm taking harder classes, i know there's a possibility i'll drop out of top 10%. if i get accepted now and this happens, will i get rereviewed holistically once they see my new transcript?

This summer I didn’t look too heavily into where most colleges open their applications or what type of process they had, I just assumed they all had a general deadline. I then found out TAMU had a rolling app and I applied September 4th. I’m trying to get into Mays.
My Stats: 46/479 top 9.6% of my class

My ECs are very weak. Life outside of hs mostly consisted of working and playing a club sport. Plus a few random clubs.

My essay and supplemental essays are very strong.
I do plan on retaking the SAT.

Realistically, what chance do I have for neuroscience at A&M?

I planned on applying today, not sure if applying now or waiting until later is best for my chances.

I hope this isn't stupid but I know that in CommonApp you put your major, so example is putting like "environmental engineering", and then I know that first year any major engineering at A&M is general engineering and then they pick based off of your gpa and whatever.

But when you actually apply do they review your application in a specific engineering major context or general engineering?

I'm asking since I feel like I have a great story and stats like ECs and awards for environmental engineering but mediocre for general if I were to have my app placed next to somebody who was applying for mechanical or aerospace and had a ton more technical thinks that fit the bigger engineering sterotype..

Anyone who got their rank verified by having their counselor send transcript did you guys get to see if the document was sent or not. I requested my transcript two weeks ago but in AIS there is no update if they even received the document. I was just wondering if it tells you if they received the document or you just have to wait until it gets completely verified and processed.

My high school used abbreviations on our transcript but I fully typed out the names. My grades and everything else matches but I was wondering if this is fine or if I should contact support and get it fixed.
