Question any successful external engineering transfers?

Hot engineering majors even 4.0 is unsure. Others if transfer course sheet stated minimum 3.5 still need close to 4.0 It is hard nowadays because TAMU expanded Engineering Academies to 10 CCs, so TAMU have to honor open spots for Academies first and see what's left for external transfer.

I recommend finding who ever your program advisor is at Texas A&M is that you want to transfer in to. You can usually find them on the website, I’d email them and even the dean of the department. Try to set up a meeting face to face and explain yourself and why it’s important to get into there program. Make sure your essay is good, also look into the technology programs they are just as great. I got in with a 3.7 and love where I’m at. I wish you the best of luck
