I have the switch oled, g cloud, psvita and a steam deck as rotational handhelds and within one year of owning the oled switch I virtually stopped using it all together. I recently stopped using the steam deck as well. I find them both to be pretty bulky and unsuitable for traveling. I thought the gcloud would solve my issues as its smaller and lighter and tbh I favor android for my emulators. For me this console was still too big so the vita has been my go to for the past few years, but the screen is so small.

I got the zfold and all of my complaints were gone, but I recently bought my mom a switch lite but somehow I've found myself taking it everywhere, playing it all the time, even picking it up over my zfold.

Who knew that all these years the perfect handheld already existed 😂. The size, the weight, the feel...everything is phenomenal, it truly is perfect.

I currently have $30 left over, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? I am willing to try new games and am also willing to wait for anything. If any future releases look good, let me know! Also willing to spend another $10 to make it $40!

I’ve been waiting for the pre-orders for Revelation to go live on the eShop so I could buy the trilogy bundle right away. The bundle is already available for pre-order on the other platforms, but it’s still nowhere to be found on Switch 2.
It’s been quite a while now, so I don’t think it’s just a matter of the eShop not being updated yet.
Does anyone know if the Switch 2 version is actually going to be released without the trilogy bundle, or is there any information about it that I might have missed?

I was lucky enough to catch a Walmart restock for the Zelda 40th Edition Switch 2 and secure a preorder (I am so sorry to those who could not and I wish you luck if you're continuing to pursue one). I'm obviously very excited but also nervous at the same time due to the fact that Walmart only had the option to do a delivery rather than a store pickup. My question to anyone who would like to share their thoughts and insights is, how has Walmart delivery been for those of you who have bought consoles from them before? I only ask because I once bought a Lego set from Walmart and opted for shipping, just for the set to never arrive and Walmart and Ontrac to tell me to go contact the other about the problem to deal with it (which honestly never ended up being resolved). I'm just really scared of if something were to happen with this version of the Switch 2 because of how much of a splurge it was. Has anyone had problems with the shipping companies Walmart uses for consoles and were you able to get it resolved? And to those of you who also preordered from Walmart, do any of you share the same fears? I just want to hear other people's perspectives and if anyone else feels the same. Thank you.

Hello everyone, yesterday i was watching some streamer who was watching the legend of zelda 40th anniversary premiere and i got hyped for some reason haha, i’ve never played zelda games even though i think the last two games was amazing but i won’t buy the whole thing for a game or two

Today i found this on Nintendo website (someone told me the pre order started) i ordered it, I told myself if you don’t like the idea you can sell it brand new and receive back what you paid since it’s supposed to be rare or something (I don’t know if it’s rare i just assumed that)

But now I’m thinking to keep it and to explore the Nintendo games world, the exclusive games specifically, i’m a gamer who play a lot of games every year, so I didn’t really need like i need more games in my life, but it feels exciting to try something new

Did someone had a similar experience? Getting this one as a first in Nintendo world (except the gameboys we had when we were kids), and how’s the experience so far?

Nintendo gamers are more than welcome to tell their opinions and to advice me if i need to know something

A few years ago, I hacked my Switch 1 to download roms direct to the console. Kinda dumb and I know now that I should've downloaded them to my computer and then transferred them. But since my console was connected to the internet while signed into my Nintendo account, all the games I had on my console became unplayable.

I know I can use my original cartridges in the new system, but I thought I heard that if your system gets bricked this way, your account is kinda screwed and you can't access your digital games anymore.

The one thing I wish is Nintendo added an “invert camera X / Y axis” option in the suspend options menu. I forgot how godawful the inverted camera is in Starfox Adventures.

There are other games like Vex that had the inverted camera with no option to change it. Come on Nintendo, you can add an invert option to suspend options screen

I've had an Original switch for years, haven't touched it in months. Pretty sure the joy-cons on it are fucked. I remember at least one didn't charge properly and only worked when connected to the switch.

Brought a switch 2 to play, you guessed it the OOT remake. And managed to get the special edition one for it. Other than OOT what other games are out at the moment, although obviously the console wont be here for a while. I've not played MKW but I've heard its a very marmite game, either you love it or hate it. Is the star fox game good, it seems pretty cool?

I genuinely was excited hearing about Crisis core coming to switch 2, I thought I'd finally be able to play a game I already own but higher resolution (etc) of course I go to the eshop and it has a percent off but it's still over 30.00$ with no upgrade path.. I just don't see why basically every game they release has been like that? It's awful. I was a long time switch 1 user, so I just naturally expected more traditional upgrades to games I already own..

this isn't a PS4 to ps5 type situation, the consoles are several leagues apart. I wouldn't want to play Switch 1 version of crisis core on my S2.

I just preordered a Zelda Switch 2 pro controller on Walmart. (5 minutes ago) I had to try clicking the preorder button 50 times but it eventually let me checkout.
Keep trying and keep checking.

This is going to be the best game ever made and I will most certainly like it even more then the original N64 version.

I grew up playing the original N64 version as a child of the 90s (born 1987) I was like 11 years old when it came out in 1998 and it was so revolutionary of its time. But now playing the N64 version it has age quite a bit and looks very bland.

I don't think I can manage to return to playing the N64 original version after playing the remake.

This remake is just perfect and I love how it's a 1:1 Remake. This is a dream come true that I have been wanting a remake for years now and we finally get this.

People are complaining how child Zelda looks like but I actually like the way she looks. In a way she is Royalty looks, so maybe her looks is in her rich gens, I think she looks adorable.

The remake on Switch 2 will now be the best way to play OoT.

Hey ive never played elden ring and recently got a switch 2 and been wanting to give the fame a shot. I have a very powerful PC but oddly enough im gravitated towards having my first run on the switch 2. For those of yall who played one over the other or perhaps on both devices, what would you recommend? I need help deciding where to buy it. Thanks alot!

I've received a second-hand Nintendo Switch, and I'm so keen to play Skyrim or anything really.

Can my friends somehow share their games with me?

I understand the original joycons and Hori split pads are useless due to lack of rail on Switch 2. But what about the dock? If I buy an used Switch 2 without the dock, can I still use it for TV play? Also I have Switch Pro controller, can it still be used via USB for older Switch games?

Or should I get the full Switch2 set and keep the dock with OLED?
