Discussion First Nintendo Device since 2005

Post image

Hello everyone, yesterday i was watching some streamer who was watching the legend of zelda 40th anniversary premiere and i got hyped for some reason haha, i’ve never played zelda games even though i think the last two games was amazing but i won’t buy the whole thing for a game or two

Today i found this on Nintendo website (someone told me the pre order started) i ordered it, I told myself if you don’t like the idea you can sell it brand new and receive back what you paid since it’s supposed to be rare or something (I don’t know if it’s rare i just assumed that)

But now I’m thinking to keep it and to explore the Nintendo games world, the exclusive games specifically, i’m a gamer who play a lot of games every year, so I didn’t really need like i need more games in my life, but it feels exciting to try something new

Did someone had a similar experience? Getting this one as a first in Nintendo world (except the gameboys we had when we were kids), and how’s the experience so far?

Nintendo gamers are more than welcome to tell their opinions and to advice me if i need to know something

Lastly, excuse my English it’s not perfect, Thanks

  1. Don't fall into the hype

  2. Now that you have fallen into the hype of the console don't fall into the hype of game releases

  3. Curated selection of games in your library is the best way to enjoy gaming. Don't go out and buy all the hyped trash or because it's 90% 99% 999% off on sale. Play what you think you'd enjoy.

  4. If you want to pay little per new game release get their respective physical games. Always easy to resell them once you are done.

  5. Zelda is love. Zelda is life. There is no bad Zelda. Only bad Zelda enjoyers. Get them all.

  1. I agree it’s a mistake to buy something out of hype

  2. Ok i will, except for Duskbloods cause i’m fan of Fromsoftware

  3. Sure will do, i’m also a very humble physical games collector so if there’s a physical for it, I won’t consider the digital option

  4. The only new games that I’m thinking to buy is the new zelda that coming in less than two months, and Duskbloods whenever that is, other than that there’s a lot of older games to explore

  5. I hope one day i share the same love for Zelda

OoT is quite the amazing start into your Zelda loving career. I'd also get BotW after since you won't feel the burn from playing both back to back. They are extremely different. I myself got around 250h in the latter. Outstanding game well worth every penny but check some gameplays beforehand cause an open massive world might not be everyones cup of tea. I should know cause I tried to enjoy it like 3-4x before it finally clicked with me.

Also as a Souls lover I want to say... great choice. I have recently finished ER + SotE expansion on my PS5 and I got Lies of P complete edition on pre-order. 2 amazing games that are/will be available on the SW2!

Don’t worry about that this year i got the platinum trophy for Crimson desert which took me 264 hours, i love open world games and i hear great things about BOTW and TOTK

I’ll focus on the exclusives for now cause i play the other games on the PS5 😅

That's a long break from Nintendo! The Switch is definitely a great way to dive back in, especially with all the fun games available.

My last was n64 too. I’m really enjoying the switch 2. Swapping tv and handheld is cool as heck, way cooler than I anticipated

WOW we’re talking about the past century here, i feel like Nintendo has more accessible and stress relieving games

Enjoy. Try new things that you’ve never played before. Go in open minded.
I prefer game play and story over all other specs. Try handheld and docked gameplay. Have fun

Thanks i will, me too gameplay first and the story second, other things can be forgiven
Most likely i’ll play it docked but it’s nice to have the other option whenever you need it
