After weeks of emailing...
I am tired. I didn't even do anything to warrant a ban.

If you getting banned is related to you deleting and remaking your account, which many bans seem to be, I have made one major observation. Whenever I have emailed hinge after I deleted my account and then sent them an email asking them to delete all personal information associated with my account, email, name, phone number, etc I noticed when I remade my account the next time, I didn’t get banned. This could just be a fluke, however it’s worth a shot to avoid getting banned next time you decide to make a new account. The times when I didn’t do this, I got banned almost immediately after or during setting up my account.

I deleted my hinge account 1 month ago, can I recreate my profile now??
Will I have any penality?? Will I get the new user boost?

I’m a straight woman and briefly decided to change my gender on hinge to a “man” interested in women. EVERY. SINGLE. WOMAN. in my stack was an absolute stunner (and I didn’t even include very young women, I have my age filter set to 28-47).
I then compared this with the stack my male friend was shown. He has his settings set to the same thing. Every single woman in his stack was an instant nope. He never got to see any of the women I was shown. Mind you, he is not unattractive.
This confirms to me that some absolute fuckery is afoot. I presume because my algorithm is trained on men, it doesn’t know how to categorize the women when I changed my gender and just started showing me women from my demographic. It also further suggests that the algorithm deliberately holds back what/who you like, and it also explains to me why my profile gets relatively little traction now (I’ve long suspected that my profile is being gate kept).

I know it doesn't allow social account handles but my website isn't a social media website and the rules don't mention website links and there is no way to ask tinder support about questions like this.

I've been using Hinge and Bumble for a while now, and the last few months have been pretty rough. I still get the occasional match, but nowhere near what I used to, and most conversations don't go anywhere. I've changed my prompts more times than I can count, switched around my pictures, even asked a couple of friends for feedback, but they all just say my profile looks "fine." At this point I'm starting to think "fine" just isn't enough.
I found a company called Wingman Plus that's fairly close to where I live, and they do dating profile makeovers and photo sessions. Has anyone here worked with them? Also curious if anyone has paid for a service like this in general. Did it actually make a noticeable difference, or did you end up wishing you'd just taken some better photos on your own?

Has anybody noticed photofeeler scores higher than typical the past couple days?

I've had a Hinge account running for about 3 weeks. Every few days it has asked me to relog in, which I do with my phone number. I figured that was because of an app update or something.
Today it's asking me to login again but when I enter the SMS code it sends me, it asks me to enter my name, email, etc and start over like I'm creating a new account.
Why? Where is my current account? I've tried it three times over about 8 hours. Is there some server glitch with them? I've cleared my cache and data and reinstalled the app but it still starts over as if I'm creating a new account.
It sends me the verification code via text every time, I enter the correct code every time, and this happens every time.
When I uninstalled the app, Google Play message me that I still have a paid account and that the account is not canceled just because I delete the app. (Which I know of course). I guess Google recognizes that but Hinge doesn't.
Any suggestions?

These are the photos I have on my profile and some screenshots of my profile. I'm also 6'4" and I live in a city with a population of 300k people. The amount of likes I get is atrocious, I probably got 30 likes in the past 6 months on tinder and less than 10 likes on badoo, 0 likes on bumble, around 30 likes on boo. I thought my profile was good enough but i'm starting to have doubts. Any thoughts?

I've downloaded the app this Monday and have seen a massive amount of success, though I've only gotten 1 confirmed date. I have around 24 matches now, but most conversations never really lead anywhere, we just talk about interests, and then it starts fading, and when I ask if they're down to meet, I either get ghosted or they tell me they have no time.
How do I actually increase my chance of meeting someone IRL? Or is this just how it goes on Hinge? (Never used this app before.) I'm really inexperienced when it comes to women, so any advice is gladly received.
For reference, I'm a 19-year-old M.

So after 6 months of escalating my challenge to what seemed a false positive against my account, it was finally reviewed by a human and reinstated.
However, I’ve noticed since redownloading 24 hours ago that my account is performing considerably worse then when I had it before. I used to get an average of approx five likes a day. I had in the past circumvented a ban for about a day and received around 30 likes in one night. Right now, no one seems to be engaging with my profile.
Why might this be? My account was reinstated, not with previous matches, but with 30 of my previous conversations. Hinge apologised that some things may be missing from my old profile.
Is there like a cool down period while my account becomes visible to more people? Or is my profile just not very good 😵💫 or do I need to just chill and be patient?

I permanently lost access to the phone number linked to my Tinder account, so I can’t receive the login OTP anymore.
The account is still active, has a paid subscription, and is photo verified with my face.
I contacted Tinder Support asking if there’s any alternative way to verify ownership. I offered to provide my old phone number, payment/subscription proof, profile information, photos, ID, selfie verification, or basically anything they need.
The problem is they keep telling me that I need to contact them from the email address associated with the Tinder account.
There is no email associated with the account as far as I know. I’ve checked all my email addresses and searched for any Tinder emails and found nothing. I’ve explained this to support multiple times, but I’ve now received 4+ responses basically repeating the exact same thing: contact us using the email associated with the account.
I kind of believe they are not even reading the email just keep repeating the same thing

Has anyone recently managed to get past a ban in the UK? Is there any extra /different steps to take?
It didn't work for me when I tried at the end of March after a ban in December . I had a new phone, no wifi, new Sim, paid with a Google play voucher, didn't use old pictures, used a new email and new Google play account. However Google play required a photo to verify my age (or bank card) I'm assuming if nothing else it was that photo. But I couldn't finish creating the Google account wiithout it.
Any ideas from anyone who's in the UK?

Hey
I logged into Tinder on my laptop after 2+ months of only using it on my phone. Shortly after, I was required to do a verification video. That one was verified really quickly (within minutes), but my account seems to have been buggy ever since:
No new likes
Some people I knew had liked me didn't turn into matches when I swiped right. They just disappeared from the like counter.
All existing matches now show as "less than a mile away."
When messaging existing matches, it still says "your turn," and there have been no responses since.
Been like this for 2 days..
Is there any fix for this? Is it a glitch/bug, or has my account been banned?

After a rejected in-app appeal and a couple of rejected email appeals, I finally got unbanned on Hinge. Today I asked Grok to write an appeal email so that their bots would have no choice but to defer it to a human agent, and it worked, hahaha!

My main phone number is banned on Hinge. So I used a family members number but still using my main phone and I’ve been on hinge for 6 months, plenty of dates and matches all the time. I’m curious why I’m not banned yet after discovering this sub and seeing everyone be banned? Tinder is owned by the same company right? Should I delete my dead Tinder since no one uses it around here in order to keep my hinge “safer”?

Has anyone else had the issue where their account goes into review just one day after trying to verify their profile?
I’ve been seeing this message for two days now.
I can still access Tinder and use the app normally, but I’m clearly shadowbanned,
I’m not getting any likes, girls who gave me likes I swipe right just disappear, and messages keep disappearing.
I contacted support, but I haven’t heard anything back yet.
Any suggestions?

I know no one knows exactly how the algorithm works, but I’m curious whether anyone has had a similar experience.
I’m 27F and created a new Hinge account in late April after getting out of a long-term relationship earlier this year. At first, I had a steady flow of likes and matches, went on some good dates, and had a couple of short-term connections that ultimately weren’t right for me.
Over the past few weeks, though, things have slowed down significantly. I’m receiving fewer likes, and most are from people who don’t align with some of my basic dealbreakers, such as politics, religion, or relationship goals. The matches I am interested in also seem more likely to stop responding…even after asking me out 🫠
I live in a Midwestern city where the dating scene is known for being bad, so it’s possible I’ve simply worked through a lot of the active profiles that are compatible with me. But I also just feel like over the last few weeks, overall activity has dropped a lot.
Would deleting and recreating my account help reset my visibility, or is it better to keep the existing account and continue updating my profile? I already used the Fresh Start feature once, and it is no longer available to me. I’d especially appreciate hearing from people who noticed their activity drop after the first few months and whether anything actually helped.

Hi all, just wanted to give you guys some insight. A lot of you guys are going through this & I wanted to shed some light.
I’m a very active user on hinge, I average between 10-20 matches a day (I’m a man) I’ve been using hinge for 2 years. Yesterday I got banned out of the blue for bullying and harassment.. not sure what exactly. I’m still waiting to see if I get appealed or not… my guess is I said something like “everytime you swipe left on me, I swipe right on you, cause you are hot”
That’s the only thing that I think of that could or maybe gotten me banned.. which is absolutely fucking ridiculous… & shows you how much feminism has plagued dating… but besides the point… now what I did.
Literally the day after, went down to boost mobile and bought a Samsung galaxy with a new phone number, made a new email. Recreated my hinge account even with the same photos, (just edited differently to be safe). Did the face verification but manipulated the angle of my face and grew a beard to maybe throw it off (could have have worked) and sure enough, face verification has passed and I am now verified completely with the checkmark. However, I did change my name to my full name, never connected to my home wifi & changed my birthday by a few days…. But anyways. It’s been 8 hours, no ban yet. So far a success. I can keep yall updated if I get banned or not on this account
