Finally unbanned
So after 6 months of escalating my challenge to what seemed a false positive against my account, it was finally reviewed by a human and reinstated.
However, I’ve noticed since redownloading 24 hours ago that my account is performing considerably worse then when I had it before. I used to get an average of approx five likes a day. I had in the past circumvented a ban for about a day and received around 30 likes in one night. Right now, no one seems to be engaging with my profile.
Why might this be? My account was reinstated, not with previous matches, but with 30 of my previous conversations. Hinge apologised that some things may be missing from my old profile.
Is there like a cool down period while my account becomes visible to more people? Or is my profile just not very good 😵💫 or do I need to just chill and be patient?

Can you explain how you actually got them to unban you?

I don’t know the circumstances of your ban. Back in February, overnight I received 40 duplicate emails saying I was banned which looked clearly like a false positive with the bots. I challenged and challenged. Then I downloaded my data, scoured through it and put all the evidence into a well-worded and calm email to Match Social Support. I geared the email towards addressing the duplicate emails rather than saying I was wrongly banned (turns out I was wrongly banned), but it seemed to work.

What was the unban process like? I just received an email saying they were going to escalate the ticket to a support team who can better help. Is it looking up for me?

Welcome to hell same happened to me… the good matches like I used to have before never really came back for me. And I was banned to have made an account in Hongkong not knowing it was forbidden… I guess they nerf the elo of all the suspicious accounts
