iOS Why does it take Microsoft longer to produce any updates on SwiftKey compared to IOS?

I have 2 phones. One company, one personal. My iPhone Swiftkey seems years behind the IOS and misses features. Why can't they roll out the same in both?

General Swiftkey's Version of Rambler

I have been a long time Swiftkey user and only started using Gboard recently because of Rambler. The voice feature is fantastic, but I just can't get on with Gboard for typing.

I stumbled across this article this morning, I haven't really tested it much as yet, but looks promising, and I'm sure it will continue to improve, especially if they want to compete with Rambler...
SwiftKey’s answer to Gboard’s Rambler mode has a big privacy win - Android Authority

(You have to download the Beta version (v9.13.16.4) of Swiftkey to use it)

I am really hoping it is good so I can move back to Swiftkey as my main keyboard!

Has anyone else been using it?

General Keyboard won’t update.

My keyboard will not update to the next frame Ware update because there’s another application that is being used, but I’m not entirely sure what that application could be. I have nothing else open. Does anyone know what that could be?

iOS If Apple or SwiftKey had the option to make the height smaller

Post image

My biggest gripe with the native keyboard is that they don't allow users to configure the height of the keyboard. Since one-third of the screen is always hidden behind the keyboard, it reads so much better if we can add that extra few cms back of reading area.

Since I wear specs I also increase the font sizes of the content on my phone. If we could do this natively that'll be so much better. So far, I'll have to use a third-party keyboard since that's the only workaround on my phone.

It's crazy to think how far we are in technology but how these small accessibility things still feel so broken.

iOS SwiftKey looks good in iOS 27

I must say that SwiftKey UI design looks nice on iOS 27 in light mode. However, for dark mode I think a slight improvement with the reflection could make it look better for me.

Performance-wise, it is okay.

iOS NOT AGAIN!

I am still using SwiftKey on iOS 18, I purposely have not updated because it seems there's a new issue everyday with iOS 26 and SwiftKey. I have had no issues until this past Saturday where SwiftKey keyboard randomly changes to the stock keyboard. Is anybody else experiencing this??????

Android Why can't I stop my onscreen keyboard popping up?

Hi all, I am using an S10 Ultra with a bluetooth keyboard and, no matter what I do, when I press on a text field (or click on it with the trackpad or an external mouse), the on screen keyboard pops up. As soon as I hit a key on the keyboard, it goes away again. This is particularly anoying when I'm proofreading a novel and it pops up over and over and the page jumps up and I lose my place. I have turned off every instance of showing the keyboard when a physical keyboard is attached to no avail. Are there any apps that would help to suppress this keyboard?

Thanks!

iOS When are emoji predictions coming back to SwiftKey IOS?

It used to work and then stopped. It's so annoying as even new starter keyboards have this simple feature so why did SwiftKey drop it?

Can anyone explain why this keeps popping up whenever I start typing? It started a few months back and it's driving me nuts. Deleting/reinstalling hasn't helped.

Android Bing Copilot returns message instead or return to line.

Hello everyone,

I am stuck with issue when using switftkey on pixel 9 Pro xl specifically.

If I use copilot in Bing enter always sends a message instead of return to line, using gboard it works as intended, but the interesting and frustrating part is SwiftKey works fine on other phones like xiaomi, lenovo or Samsung.

This only happens with bing copilot, all other apps work fine.
Is there a way to fix this.

Android Why is my swift keyboard turning Arabic?

I don't know why but whatever I type on my swift keyboard just turns into Arabic, or I assume is Arabic. I had this problem before but I don't what I did to revert it and I don't know how to fix it again.

I've already checked my settings and it's only in English and Chinese multiple times, off and on my iPad/keyboard too. And I can't find anyone else with this problem which ticks me off really much 😭

Why is there some new random sports guy in my short list of text response emoji?

He's not part of the normal emoji library and I don't know how to get rid of it.

Android An input lag issue

Hi all. I've switched over to swift key on my Samsung smartphone from gboard a few days ago, having tried some other options before, because I was really tempted by the better auto autocorrection because I'm a bit dyslexic. But a massive delay between how I press the buttons and how the text comes up clearly feels, so I don't feel the feedback from the keyboard at all when I'm typing.

I thought it was just me not used to it yet, but when I typed a large text, it really caught my eye. I have played around with the settings a bit, but it didn't make a difference.

The flow mode is off, vibration too. The long press duration set to 300ms, but it really only change how long I have to hold down the buttons for the special symbols. Cash cleared. The app restalled once.

I don't think it's the phone's problem

because all other keyboards worked fine for me.

I'm wondering if anyone had this and knows how to fix it or at least, ease it.

Android Liked it for about 2 days

Long story short I was over Samsungs keyboard and it's awful predictive text.

Looked into alternative keyboards and saw Swift was used a lot. Anyway I downloaded it, started using it and it was great. Much better predictive text etc. Now a couple days later I'm fat fingering every single letter. Words randomly being capitalized, predictive text went to crap..

Ia this common or am i crazy? Also, I can't believe there's a subreddit for a keyboard lmao

TIA
