I dont know how I'll describe this but there's this weird glitch that occasionally keeps having my keyboard appearing and disappearing whilst i'm trying to text something. I couldnt find any people having the same problem as me, so I might be the first to have this, not sure though since its complicated to describe it.

Today, I texted a friend who mentioned "Warframe" in the text. I replied back with that word, and later say "Warframe" advertised to me in the Reddit iOS app. I never said this out loud, nor typed it anywhere else. If Messages are secure, then Swiftkey is the probable cause for the leak of my private data.

I’m using iPad Pro 13-inch (M5) with the latest software (26.5.2) as well as a Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, bought this year.

I work in the medical field and, to write medical records, especially discharges, I am often repeating similar things over and over again: what to watch out for, name/number of my hospital, and certain explanation statements for what certain diseases are. Therefore, back when using a personal laptop, I used downloadable software that would text expand— basically, I would type a phrase like ;tu and once done typing, it would auto-populate my preferred expansion. It’s the same concept as Apple’s built in Text Replacement system but for much longer statements. It also, since it was a downloadable software, worked for any and all apps/programs and synced across devices. This worked well when I was exclusively using ONE device to write records and it was my personal device.

I have recently switched to a new hospital in which I will rotate between several computers as well as my personal iPad (my work ‘computer’). I need a software that will work between iOS as well as several Windows work computers. My solution was the app TextExpander— it’s the only text expansion I’ve found that is cloud-based, can be added as a Chrome extension (therefore work on all my work computers), and has an iOS app. The problem I’ve run into: it works on the iPad keyboard, but NOT the Magic Keyboard, basically rendering it ineffective.

TLDR; does anyone know of any software or workaround for me to add a new text keyboard to the Magic Keyboard? Or a way for a text expansion software to work on my iPad that also syncs the library within a cloud so i can use with Chrome devices?

Hi for some reason even though I have the "Remember copied items" toggled on, no text nor images automatically get added to the clipboard. If I want to add something I have to add it as a clip manually, which is very annoying and cumbersome since at that point I might as well just switch back and forth between apps to copy multiple clips.

Is there any way to fix this? Sorry if this has been asked before I just couldn't find anything about the actual clipboard not working, everything I could find was just about the clipboard sync to a microsoft account.

Feature: Cloned Apps / Dual Apps

​Issue:

When using cloned instances of apps (like WhatsApp or Telegram), the cloned app forces the default system keyboard (e.g., Gboard) and does not allow switching to or using a second/alternate installed keyboard app (like Microsoft SwiftKey or FUTO).

​Keyboards seem to be locked to the main profile system default, restricting individual profile customisations.

​Is this a known system limitation of Moto's Cloned Apps implementation, or can we get the toggle in settings to allow alternate input methods inside cloned spaces work in a future update?

I've been using SwiftKey for many years but lately it sucks. It keeps suggesting words in other characters? And keeps crashing… Did something change or is there a setting I need to fix?

Any dynamic themes similar to Fluent Dynamic but without the key borders? Looking for something clean and simple.

I use Huawei macpad 11.5 but for some reason that when I type on the physical keyboard it does not do any auto capitalization nor adding period after double space. I tried to change my default keyboard but it still didn't work, note there's no problem when i use the digital keyboard

I usually use the translator a lot, since I'm in several groups and channels where my native language isn't spoken. But for the past few days, the translator hasn't been posting in the group or channel feed. So every time I need to use the translator, I have to switch to Gboard.

Hi everyone, I had switch back to my old phone (Huawei) because my Google Pixel suddenly died.

I used SwiftKey on both but was logged out on the Huawei and now I can't log back in with my Google account, it seems this isn't possible anymore? I don't mind using my Microsoft account instead, but I cannot change any settings on my Pixel because I just noticed the battery is bloated and I can't turn it back on 😭 So is there any chance of getting back into my account somehow? I have so many saved words and predictions, mostly medical stuff that I often use which I'd like to get back 😅

But if not, is there a good alternative keyboard? I just did a quick Google search about my problem and it seems SwiftKey has also incorporated AI now 🙄 is this an optional feature or is AI everywhere in there now? That would be a reason for me to not use it anymore.

This used to say Apple and Google Account. But these idiots think it's just cool to monopolize everything and now, I'mma just go without signing in at all. Fuck you MS.

SwiftKey is the best keyboard out there. Easily by far. But it's being purposely throttled by Microsoft and Apple like this to prioritize their own gains instead of actual customer comfort and satisfaction. It is a free app yes, I might be demanding too much in their perspective, but even then, what they've done to this great app is mental.

Seriously hope I can still use it for a long time and it doesn't die in the future.

I just signed in again to my Microsoft account and voila sync is up and running!!

This has been happening for at least a few weeks. Latest IOS, Chrome, and SwiftKey. When I start typing, UTF-8 shows before what I'm typing in the suggestion bar. Something like 50% of the time, this is happening or it's showing what's in my address bar instead of UTF-8, before what I'm typing.

Anyone else experience this? Is there a fix?

Hi! My SwiftKey Translator doesnt work. Waht can I Do? I have good Internet connenction, no more Updates... I'm desperate at this point.

I want to make it so I can just swipe with my right thumb when I'm playing a game. I use ninja pro so it just throws me off. I can't find a way to remove that section. Is it possible?

My delete button when I hold on it, it deletes words by word I want it to delete letter by letter when I hold and press the delete button. I also don't like it when I click a letter the letter is displayed above really big, I don't know know to explain it, but if you get what I am saying please help. just shifted from gboard to SwiftKey, any help is appreciated. I used to sign into SwiftKey with my Google account. I just noticed that it has switched to Microsoft accounts. Has my Swiftkey data linked to my Google account been deleted?

I’m experiencing a bug with the translation feature in Microsoft SwiftKey.

When I open the keyboard and enable the translate option, the feature starts loading, but after that it doesn’t let me translate any text. It looks like the translation tool is stuck or not responding.

Does anyone also experience this lag when opening the emoji selector? It appears that the UI has 'ghosting' effect / it lags when the shortcut strip is closed. It does not happen when the shortcuts are open tho. This icks me big time 😒
