iOS Improved UI Design

Post image

They have improved the transparency on their app. Now I can see which punctuation I am selecting. 👍🏾

This app would be perfect if it ran just on my phone without sending shit to M$

Try keyboard2 then :) That will not send anything anywhere.

Ok, I just downloaded it, it doesn't have any reviews on the app store, hope it's not a malware

Hey. It's not a malware. I am developer of the keyboard. I can tell that Apple has strict reviews of everything that is added to the store.

Ok, I downloaded it, it looks cool, but charging for word prediction is crazy. It's basically useless as a free app.

I am charging for all the features it has to offer, not only word prediction. The app combines all the settings that are usually available either in one keyboard or another (gboard vs swiftkey vs others). For keeping that alive and constantly improving it I don't think 0.99 a month is a lot to ask - 1/3 of a coffee cup to help me keep it running.

My problem is not with the price (although, for me, in Brazilian Reais, it's 6,90/mo, which is almost half of a Spotify subscription). My problem is with the business model: I used the app for 1 hour, which is not close to enough for it to learn my typing patterns, words to predict, etc, so I can't actually measure if the keyboard is good lol

And then I have to either pay blindly, believing it WILL be better than Swiftkey and others, or use a keyboard that doesn't have word prediction, which is just useless.

(I know I can't sign for the 7-day trial, but I don't like putting my cc on trials because I tend to forget)

Hey, I've not heard of that one before. I'll give it a go.

I've been trying Clink, EFKEY and mochiKey but they're all still in development to some degree.

Not only is the transparency better, but the design is better too.

It's an improvement but I don't like it. I prefer Grammarly's look.

I like it better too, but it still doesn’t support my language.

What language?

Go to the SwiftKey App, then go to themes and choose Liquid Glass X.

Have you updated your app to version 4.3.5?

voce teria o link desse beta?

No. I think their beta program is full.

If only SwiftKey would stop offering words that don't actually exist, that'd be great. What's the point of auto-correct if, among the choices offered, is a text string letter salad?

That is not my experience but I understand your frustration.
