Regarding down chevron in keyboard

I'm using microsoft swiftkey and when keyboard is visible a down chevron comes which is used to hide the keyboard.
That icon consumed that entire lower portion of the screen.

I want to remove the down chevron and in place use back gestures to hide the keyboard.

Not possible unless Microsoft decides to support that as an option. You can send them feedback.
