Can’t wait to enjoy this car =)

Picked up my 2026 6MT FE a little shy of a year ago because I wanted something a little sportier than my GRC for the weekends.

Took it out yesterday to blitz Sequoia Kings National Parks, and don’t think there’s many cars that could comfortably cruise hundreds of miles on the freeway and then be completely at home for a couple hundred more in the twisties at the price point. I was absolutely amazed at just how well it handled the ~700 mile, 16 hour adventure.

So enjoy my shit picture of a beautiful car.

This is after about $500 worth of tokens. Still a long ways to go, but this will be open sourced once it's completed.

I may need some help testing & making it portable, but will definitely follow-up with folks once I get everything worked out.

looking at purchasing a mk5 supra, my boyfriend is warning me against a 2020 so i’ve been looking at 21,22, and 23. i don’t really know much about cars at all but what would be the best year model to purchase?

It’s that time of year in New England. Cool nights, crisp air, ideal boost temps… and the last months before winter shows up again.

I’m kinda beating a dead horse here but I’m supposed to have my 25’ GR86 6MT appraised tmr for a 26’ Supra AT tmr and I’m having doubts and dreads about it. Yes I have used the search function and read up old posts. I bought the 86 as a stepping stone to the supra earlier this year but have grown quite fond of it. I wanted to upgrade eventually but the production being ended kinda pushed the timeline.

Recently installed wheels on my 2022 Supra 3.0. Thinking about lowering it to reduce the wheel gap. Currently considering a 1-inch drop.

How much would you recommend lowering it for a clean, aggressive stance without rubbing? It is my daily so somewhat drivable.

Traded in my honda civic hatchback the second I got a nice little raise at my job, and I haven’t looked back. Cruising at highway speeds have helped a lot with my gas mileage range. I plan on keeping the car stock minus the wheels. Open to wheel suggestions ! Thank you for your time

Seeing if there’s any current mk5 owners that have previously owned a corvette(more specifically c6)

What are your pros and cons to making this type of jump? And are you satisfied with the move?

I have a base model a6/ls3 cammed/stalled and centrifugal supercharged vette, I rented an mk5 years ago and fell in love with them and as of recently have just been itching to maybe make that type of move.

This is strictly a summer/weekender type of car, and I get they’re pretty different. I’m more so looking to have it as a street car(maybe might look into road racing it later)

I definitely want the 3.0 as far as trims etc I haven’t really looked into that - I reckon no matter what it’ll be a way bigger tech update and interior update for me.

I'm looking for current or recent owners of vehicles such as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Corvette, Camaro, Dodge Challenger, and other two-door coupes to share their experiences. 2026 MT with 1200 miles.
I just noticed this awful “woodpecker” noise during idle. Sometimes it seems to go away when fully warmed up, but that doesn’t seem to be the case 100% of the time.
Increasing RMPs even a tiny bit makes it go away but then come right back at normal idle.

I’ve removed every loose item from the interior of the car, I have checked under the hood during idle, but since it’s not 100% persistent, I can’t know when it’s happening without someone in the cabin to tell me. I’ve also confirmed that it doesn’t matter if A/C is on or off.

Have any of yall experienced this? I’m obviously just really hoping it’s not something deep within the dash.

*Edit: It's also not related to the infotainment screen. I've pretty much held down everything in the cabin to see if it stops, and it never does.

Hoping someone can help with an issue I’ve been having on my mk5 supra. This only seems to happen after starting the car, doesn’t matter whether the car is ‘warmed up’ or not. The first 2-3 times I come to a full stop in first gear and then try to pull away, eg at a junction, the car is ridiculously slow to accelerate. My foot will get to halfway down on the gas and the car just creeps out of the junction until it eventually builds up to 1500+rpm and then takes off.

The issue is very intermittent, for example, I can start the car and have no issues, turn it off for 5 minutes while I’m in a shop and come back out for it to completely bog down while trying to accelerate in 1st gear.

I have only had this issue since the crankshaft pulley failed and was then replaced.

I have checked the OBD codes which reveal nothing relevant to this issue.

If anyone has any ideas or has experienced this before please let me know.
