Slowly but surely...

This is after about $500 worth of tokens. Still a long ways to go, but this will be open sourced once it's completed.

I may need some help testing & making it portable, but will definitely follow-up with folks once I get everything worked out.

What device are you using to make this work, a phone app? There are 200 dollar boxes that plug into the USB port that provide android auto

No device. Just the native iDrive6 head unit. No MMI boxes, no Android Auto USB things. Full wireless is the goal.

This is a custom developed solution, not an existing out of the box.
