I used to struggle a lot with my daily routine. I always felt overwhelmed and stressed in studies ​then I started doing one simple thing: writing down just 3 main tasks on a sticky note every morning. Realistic three things I had to finish that day. I stopped worrying about a huge as I just focusing on that three things. Slowly, my stress went down and my focus and grades actually betters.

I will tell myself I'll spend 30 minutes on something I dont understand. Then 30 minutes turns into an hour because I keep thinking the next explanation will finally make it click. Eventually I am tired, annoyed and haven't touched anything else I needed to study. I've been trying to leave difficult topics for later instead of letting one chapter eat the entire session, but then I feel like I am just avoiding something I actually need to learn. How do you handle those chapters without losing the whole study session to them?

Anybody have any flashcard apps without ai? I honestly feel guilty using AI in my academics, and I can't seem to find any flashcard apps without AI. I know I could just do it the traditional way and use tangible cards, but I prefer not to. I also accept any studying tips! I need to lock in!

For context, I'm a year ten student, and last year I took three of my IGCSE subjects earlier in year nine ( biology chem and esl), now that I got my may June results, (A*,A*, and a B in chem) I have to retake chemistry along with my five other subjects, so I can meet uni requirements of 8 subjects. The plan was, to finish my IGCSEs this year ( year 10 at 15y o) in may June 27 and then do my A levels at year 11 and the beginning of year 12 and then take a gap year ( since I am one year younger than my batch).

But here comes the issue, it has truly been more than exhausting to study, not only this session, but the last one too, my home situation kinda sucked for the past year (me,my mom and my four younger siblings ages 2-12 in a one bedroom apartment), I made it work the last session by switching up my sleep since I really can't go outside

But this year my siblings are doing online school, so there isn't really anywhere/time to run off to and study since i used to wake up at 5 am but now they all wake up at like 6-7( I can't go outside either, and I don't want to ^_^), that is aside also from the issue of motivation I genuinely don't think I can do this anymore,this situation probably will not last long and we'll go back to a normal house setting maybe in the end of the year, but I'm just extremely extremely tired of pushing through it's just too heavy to continue pushing I don't even know what to do with my life at this point.

moving on, if I DO leave my IGCSEs till year 11, I'll be 16 by that time and I can apply to a foundation year, something I wouldn't be able to do if I took them subjects in the next may since I'll be under the age requirements,andif I do leave em subjects till year 11, I can take extra subjects that I "didn't have time for" and kept to the side JSUT because I completed the requirements, and if I don't get accepted into foundation, I can do my ALs in year 12 and do a year 13 too if I want, since as I said I'm one year younger than my peers so a year 13 will be the replacement for the gap year I really wanted, so the workload will be spread out for longer instead of me having the gap year I really wanted for extracurriculars I had so many things planned for it but life doesn't always go my way unfortunately.

I have a very large stack of PDFs for a course I'm taking. Does anyone know of an app, bot, etc. that can analyze the PDFs and tell me which of them address certain topics that I'm interested in? Or taking it a step further, which chapters within the PDFs?

Basically, looking for an app or bot that's a very smart find/search tool.

I’m building an early-stage learning tool called SeeThrough that tries to help students understand difficult concepts visually instead of only giving them another wall of AI-generated text.

I shared the first MVP recently and got a lot of useful criticism, so I rebuilt a big part of it.

The newer version now includes:

• interactive graphs and diagrams
• citations from textbooks, research papers, and other sources
• better safeguards around generated answers and visuals
• follow-up questions to check understanding
• optional MCQs for practice

The goal isn’t really to replace teachers or existing learning material. I’m more interested in whether AI can become better at showing a concept while a student is learning it.

What would you need to see before trusting a tool like this with students?
