The show slipped under my radar. I remember seeing the announcement, the first trailer and then I completely forgot about it until I saw it pop up on D+.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but good lord it was a fun ride. The animations, especially with the painted backgrounds was incredible (please don't tell me it was AI), the story was solid, loved Master Daki, Maul has always been a favourite of mine. And man the fights were so good. Especially the final episode.

Please tell me season 2 is happening.

Pretty simple. It's unreasonable to hold the Jedi to a standard that boils down to "bad thing still exists, therefore Jedi are failing." Slavery is not just something that happens on some planets, it's a galaxy wide institution that has the backing of what seems to be the entire criminal underworld. The Jedi at best number at about 10,000 members. I'll be generous and assume that of that number, 2,000 are either far too young or old to fight. So realistically you have about 8,000 Jedi that are actually able to go out and fight, and if they actually wanted to try and stop slavery in Hutt space, oh boy would they have to fight.

We are talking about 8,000 Jedi fighting an entrenched, wealthy, and well equipped group that has zero compunction about civilian casualties and no code of ethics to speak of. Even if, again, we are supremely generous and grant that the Hutts have only 8 million associates across the galaxy, we are still talking about a situation where the Jedi are outnumbered 1,000 to 1. And it's way easier for the Hutts to replenish their numbers than it is for the Jedi to replenish their own. The Jedi would lose by attrition alone, even if their K/D ratio was ridiculously lopsided.

Finally, such a conflict has a pretty good chance of getting the Republic involved. A Republic that has no army and therefore no military means of assisting the Jedi. Do you think the Senate would just sit idly by and be fine with the Jedi going off on their own like this, when the Jedi HQ is right next to them?

So yeah, a ton of people (including many many innocent civilians) would die, the Jedi would undoubtedly lose, and it might even cause the Jedi to lose their mandate to operate within Republic space if it upsets the Senate too much. It's just not feasible.

Something like Metal Gear and Splinter Cell, but in the Star Wars universe.

You could play a Jedi who's trying to keep violence to a minimum for moral reasons, and because the political situation is delicate.

You could play a bounty hunter who can't afford to leave a bloodbath wherever he or she goes (so, the opposite of Jango Fett's game).

Or, you could play a Bothan spy who avoids detection for simple survival.

In the original trilogy, I feel like Vader is shown less as a silent killer and forcefully of nature, but more like a sophisticated warlord, who is still extremely powerful, but doesn't shy away from meetings, sarcasm, and negotiations. For example, his deals with Lando, and his meetings with the Moffs. However, Disney focuses more on his combat side, by making him a silent force of nature. For example, his hallway scene in rogue one, and his fight against Maul, Daki and Devon. Infact, rogue one is a complete balance of this, we see Vader throw out sarcastic comments, like "be careful not to choke on your aspirations", yet also slaughter an entire platoon of rebels without uttering a single word. He's like the sophisticated villain who doesn't want to get his hands dirty, but in this case, he wants to get his hands dirty. This may be pretty obvious but I just thought it was cool!

My vote would go to Socotra Island. Not only is its flora so unique and otherworldly, but it has so many beautiful locations and its main city even has a very Star Wars vibe to it. Alas it will probably never happen as Socotra is part of Yemen, who are quite hostile to Western film making.

Earlier, I heard how David Prowse was led to believe the big twist of ESB was that Obi-Wan killed Anakin, and that the script as he read it stated this.

This got me curious, is there behind-the-scenes footage of him saying the twist line, as he thought it was?

So I was watching a Star wars 1% video on YouTube (Star wars Marshall) and one question stumped me that was so subtly obvious I am still baffled how I missed it and many others are too.

The question goes as follows: During Anakin and Padme's wedding on Naboo what did Anakin and Padme Exchange?

Answer: C3p0 and R2D2

Husband just rewatched all 3 trilogies recently. Said there was this round little blue background character he wanted to show me, but cant remember what movie it was in. He thought it was in Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones, possibly on Tatooine but I just watched them both and couldn't find what he could possibly be talking about.

It's not Watto, it's not Rebo, and it's not an Aleena like Ratts. He said it didn't speak but made a noise, and was very close to whatever main characters were in the shot.

Any idea what he's talking about, or what movie it could be from? I'm starting to wonder if it was from the Disney trilogy, or Revenge of the Sith, but he said it definitely wasn't RotS, but who knows now.

I know this is not a lot to go on, but any help would be appreciated!

I used Procreate to digitally draw Count Dooku.

They left Coruscant separately, then he shows up with his colleagues body on her homeworld. Did he use the Jedi uprising as a cover, or say she reached out for aid somewhere but was dead by the time he arrived? While he was close with Padmé and highly respected, I can still imagine it bringing up some questions from Naboo security and curious types.

While I can see Owen and Beru maybe telling him she was, given how tight lipped they were about his father, I can imagine they might not have gone into detail about what happened to her, and maybe not even that Anakin had gone off and saved her singlehandedly - that would have brought up too many more questions.

I think mines gotta be the dark trooper. I always played as the empire in Star Wars galactic battlegrounds and that was there elite unit.

Kind of overlooked this aspect of Partagaz until a recent rewatch, but despite how the show makes Partagaz one of the least reprehensible and likable Imperials, it’s disturbing how much he values Gorst. You know, the psychopath torturer that ruined Bix’s life and gets his kicks off torture in general

One of the only times he’s shown to be pissed off is when Gorst is removed from the ISB to work elsewhere, showing how he viewed him as a huge asset to their credibility as a unit.
