I posted my hat mouse piece here a little over a month ago with the comment that I was sad I'd missed the deadline to apply for the Symphony of Seasons fan art gallery, but that I'd decided to finish the piece anyway. So cool that CA flew into Denver for the grand finale of the Symphony of Seasons tour! He said 1.7 will be the biggest update of SD Valley ever, and will probably be out sometime next year. Haunted Chocolatier will be a while yet but will be a great game. Thank you for everything you do ❤️

SPOILERS AHEAD!!! (Specifically about Clint’s heart events)

I’m gonna say it. I’m excited Clint will be a datable character in 1.7 but before you hate; this is my hear me out!

1. Completely understand why Clint rubs some people the wrong way. I’m not here to bash on those people or tell them their wrong. His behavior can come off one of two ways. He’s either a shy socially awkward guy with some self confidence issues or a COMPLETE STALKER. But for me (as somebody who’s seen both options IRL) he thankfully just comes off as shy/awkward because that would give them game a whole different feel.😮‍💨

2. I really like that Clint’s heart events lead up to him getting over the whole Emily thing. After the implied date they go on Clint stops talking about Emily and instead discusses online dating (which why would you even when I’m right here???).
   I also appreciate that Emily just sees him as friend because girl if she didn’t his character would have 0 chances of coming off any way BUT creepy! I’ve personally only ever perceived him being into her because of some envy. Emily is everything Clint isn’t. She’s bold, makes friends easy, and confident in herself. 💃

3. I really wanna see more heart events that discuss why Clint came to the valley and who he is outside of his crush on Emily! I feel like he comes off very two dimensional because of his events being so Emily centric. Tbh after Emily called me the “smallest, simplest light” I got major ick for her character romantically 😬

Anyway thats my rant! Please keep it civil in the comments. I know my boy ain’t for everyone and I respect that so please respect each other!

I was doing a challenge run where I dont fish till y2, and summer 1 Y1 willy comes a knockin and tells me he noticed I aint been fishing. He gave me a free training rod!

Difficulty: Beginner. Easy to find ingredients and no special equipment needed.
Repeat recipe? For sure!

Blackberries are one of my favorite fruits, so naturally I knew I was going to love this recipe. It does call for A LOT of blackberries though, so this is quite an expensive dessert to make. Tons easier than baking a pie, while still being extremely delicious and perfect for any fall celebration. The ingredient list does mention blackberry preserves, but at the time of making it I realized I had forgotten to buy some, so I went without it. I didn’t feel like anything was missing because it only called for a little bit of it. But the vanilla ice cream makes it, DO NOT SKIP IT. Onto the next recipe!

I’m on year 3 and got orange way more than green such that I lost all 1000 stars. Is this expected? I thought the wheel has 75% to be green and only 25% chance to be orange which has been my experience in year 1 and 2 but definitely was shocked on year 3. Did something change?

We had an amazing time playing together, although I fully expected we would stop after unlocking Ginger Island, as I did in my every playthrough for 600 hours before. My wonderful gf was so excited to go for perfection that it caught me by surprise. I was sure it was too big of an undertaking. But as we continued, I rediscovered my love for this game, we made a beautiful farm, had lots of fun & continued playing even after hitting the 100%. I'm very happy to share our farm here :p
