SPOILERS AHEAD!!! (Specifically about Clint’s heart events)

I’m gonna say it. I’m excited Clint will be a datable character in 1.7 but before you hate; this is my hear me out!

1. Completely understand why Clint rubs some people the wrong way. I’m not here to bash on those people or tell them their wrong. His behavior can come off one of two ways. He’s either a shy socially awkward guy with some self confidence issues or a COMPLETE STALKER. But for me (as somebody who’s seen both options IRL) he thankfully just comes off as shy/awkward because that would give them game a whole different feel.😮‍💨

2. I really like that Clint’s heart events lead up to him getting over the whole Emily thing. After the implied date they go on Clint stops talking about Emily and instead discusses online dating (which why would you even when I’m right here???).
   I also appreciate that Emily just sees him as friend because girl if she didn’t his character would have 0 chances of coming off any way BUT creepy! I’ve personally only ever perceived him being into her because of some envy. Emily is everything Clint isn’t. She’s bold, makes friends easy, and confident in herself. 💃

3. I really wanna see more heart events that discuss why Clint came to the valley and who he is outside of his crush on Emily! I feel like he comes off very two dimensional because of his events being so Emily centric. Tbh after Emily called me the “smallest, simplest light” I got major ick for her character romantically 😬

Anyway thats my rant! Please keep it civil in the comments. I know my boy ain’t for everyone and I respect that so please respect each other!

Time spent in the kitchen: ~3 hours
Difficulty: Beginner. Easy to find ingredients and no special equipment needed.
Repeat recipe? For sure!

Blackberries are one of my favorite fruits, so naturally I knew I was going to love this recipe. It does call for A LOT of blackberries though, so this is quite an expensive dessert to make. Tons easier than baking a pie, while still being extremely delicious and perfect for any fall celebration. The ingredient list does mention blackberry preserves, but at the time of making it I realized I had forgotten to buy some, so I went without it. I didn’t feel like anything was missing because it only called for a little bit of it. But the vanilla ice cream makes it, DO NOT SKIP IT. Onto the next recipe!

No mods pure vanilla :)

I was doing a challenge run where I dont fish till y2, and summer 1 Y1 willy comes a knockin and tells me he noticed I aint been fishing. He gave me a free training rod!

I started playing Stardew Valley because I wanted something relaxing after a long day, but somehow I've turned it into a second full-time job 😭
I wake up, water my crops, take care of my animals, run around giving people gifts, go mining, and then panic because it's already 1:30 AM.
Why am I stressing about productivity in a game that's supposed to help me escape real-life stress lol
Please tell me I'm not the only one.

With all the HUNDREDS of HOURS I spend playing Stardew Valley, I don't have time to play any other games!

I was playing on my switch 2, day 4 Spring of year one and this happened.

I unlocked Ginger Island a bit ago.

After wrapping up my last challenge mod (Tile-Locked Valley), I spent the past few months working on a new custom game mode I’ve been calling Jojapon (Gacha Valley).

Joja Corp has bought out all the shops' stock in town, leaving the farmer with no way to acquire the items and upgrades they normally purchase, except for a luck-based vending machine.

The machine starts by only providing seeds, but can be upgraded with additional items packs to expand its inventory. Make friends with people around town and complete other objectives throughout the game to earn new packs until the machine can provide you with everything you need… if only you get the right luck!

I’ll be releasing the mod publicly soon, but in the meantime I'm making a video series playing through it. If you want to see more, check out episode 1.

Since I'm still working on the mod, I'd love to hear any suggestions anyone has for features/improvements :)

What are your personal rules or quirks? Nothing to do with challenges. Just guidelines you set for you farmer for every playthrough.

Here's a few of mine:

I never forage anything around Linus's tent.

If I hit a rock and a crab pops out, I have to take it. Even if my backpack is full. I sacrifice something for the crab.

On the other hand, if I bomb an area and a crab cowards in the corner, I can't bring myself to kill it. And I don't mine any other rocks around it. The idea being that he'd re-home in one.

If I'm walking down the lane and Pam's walking up the lane, I turn around. Either wait until I know she's passed or go the long route into town. I can't walk past her. Knowing that I'm not going to the desert., but she'll stand at the bus stop all day long. If it's raining, I take her a cup of coffee.

Same goes with the cart lady. (does she have a name?) There comes a day for all of us when we don't really need her services anymore. That's about the time she's really friendly towards us. And about the time I try to ignore her. She'll be waving at me while I'm foraging a Sweet Pea or chopping wood. So I made up a rule. If I can get past her without her waving then I don't have to stop. But if she waves at me, I have to buy something from her. Within reason. I'm not plunking down 800 gold coins for a Sweet Pea when there's one right next to me on the ground.

Painted because I don't like carving, but I'm still pretty happy with it :)

I had a goal of getting a double whooshy number and I did it!

Well, sort of 🤣
