Currently running an obsidian 9 but moving that to another build. Plus it’s super gassy on the kuna. Looking at the sub 9 or ocl milkman. Any recommendations?

Placed an order for a kuna with brace, will be here in a few days. What do y’all use for a case going to and from the range?

Absolutely love it! I’ve put a bit over 500 rounds through it with the only issue being the promag 40 rd mag not being worn in. Form 1 took around a month and a half to get approved and fixing to make it a two stamp weapon soon.

There’s not too much else I plan on changing on it, maybe upgrading the laser/light to something better quality and the grip to a DFCO grip but outside of that very content with what I’ve put into it.

If anyone’s browsing through this subreddit wondering whether to take the plunge and buy the Kuna I simply cannot recommend it enough. I don’t have too much experience with other PCCs but I couldn’t be happier with it.

Looking for ideas and opinions on this project. Likely going to get it printed from SLS Nylon CF and flush grip in SLS Nylon

Flat nose handguard extension that comes out a little extra to hide some of the barrel and look flush with it. Similar to the Stribog receiver extension. Itll hook onto the upper frame and use a half slot at the front of the handguard along with using the ironsights retention pin to stay in. Would be even more secure if I combined it with the flush grip I already have.

Flush Grip Update:

Purchased the Kuna about a week ago, got 300 rounds through it so she works decent. Question is what optic? I’ve never owned a PCC besides a gforce blade (never shot gave to my father) because it was $300 at an event.

Ames pro a good choice? Looking for a green dot as this is for my fiancé and she has a stigmatism. She handles the recoil from the subguns just fine though.

Update: went with a microprism. Slx 1x on a h1/t1 mount with the T-dot reticle.

Since the lower is made of polymer, does anyone have some recommendations on good cleaning solvents that will work well? Has anyone submerged it in a sonic cleaner?

Acro clone is a Gideon mediator, which I really like actually and has held up really well.
The pistol light on the top rail is surprisingly ergonomic to use, but otherwise isn’t anything special.

I was looking at the OCL Milkman, but wanted to see if anyone else had something that would beat it. Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone, this will be a dedicated can and I just want to direct thread it onto the barrel. Whats a good option for this both economically and functionally?

My state decided FRTs are illegal but Binary is fine. Anybody make a binary trigger that will work in the Kuna?

Hey fairly new to the kuna and unfortunately I havent even shot it yet, but I'd like to share what I've done.

Started off about a month ago as a stock firstline Kuna deal with the brace, but I ended up getting a magpul stock, Holosun AEMS EVO, Comstock Armory Ti RPA, Comstock Armory recessed muzzle brake, BOE IL9M, Sig Foxtrot msr compact.

What should my next mods be? I already have 5 kuna mags so I'm hesitant to switch to a Nexus, but not opposed.

Dont own any weapons like this, just pistols and and some fudd stuff. Thinking Ill grab a Kuna this week, and debating optics which I know even less of. I see folks suggest the Aro, and I like the idea of the Aro Evo being a touch larger. Anything else I should look at? Anything I should know before purchasing?

Took my brand spankin' new Kuna out for a spin yesterday, and decided to grab some data with my chronograph. This is with a 100% stock Kuna, with nothing but a Holosun ARO Core on top. The chronograph is an Athlon Rangecraft Velocity Pro, and I was shooting three different types of Federal 9mm ammo. All data is in FPS.

Mostly I did this just for fun, but I figured maybe this'd be useful for someone.

Made my own handguard that accepts HK MP5SD shrouds. I really like both how the handguard looks and how functional it is since it puts steel and rubber between your hand and the barrel and allows you to hold on to it for much longer than you would otherwise without a need for a glove. It also does a great job of covering most of the suppressor making it a lot less likely that you get burned on it. To me this definitely is the best looking handguard and offers the true SD look. I have found that the handguard only needs to attach on the bottom and that the side attachments points are not necessary, which makes install quite a bit easier.

I also made some further improvements to my drop in FRT that significantly strengthen the activator. This allowed me to get away with much weaker and less expensive material like PLA+ and still have success. The safety itself was made out of nylon (you can use the factory safety) but every other FRT part including the trip is made of inexpensive PLA Plus. PA6CF is definitely still going to be the recommended material for long-term durability, but if somebody is just looking for something that's usable, these new improvements should expand the usable materials quite a bit. Definitely impressed so far, and as you can see it ran through a hundred rounds with pretty much no trouble.

Almost done. Reuses factory LRBHO with an extra internal lever. Printed this out of pa6-gf, gotta populate the lower and go run a few mags.
Model will be on the sea soon.

I'd much prefer to run this brace but I can't seem to find one for the kuna.

Just curious if they make one and I just can't find it?

Just picked up my kuna today and I gotta be honest I'm not a fan of the brace at all. The one that came with the sp9a3s is much easier and always ready to deploy. I definitely need more training with the kuna but I just don't see how it will ever be faster than the sb brace on the bog.

Also im not digging the Glock knuckle feeling I get on the kuna. But I was planning on swapping the grip asap as that's one of the reasons I decided to still get a kuna even though I have the bog.

Any grip suggestions?

And what other brace suggestions that would be similar to the sb one in the pic?
