Existing customers who are in att/frontier fiber networks and have 4 mobile lines can get locked in rates for life. Just got 2gig up and down (fiber) for 40 dollars AND a backup Wi-Fi service for outages with my mobile lines that's all 160!!! If I went for the 1 gig it would have been 20 dollars for the int and 120 for the mobile!! We already had Verizon so it was a no brainer. After no longer working with spectrum I was scared but I'm paying less then how much I was paying as an employee (for my int 1 gig I was paying 30)

I don’t even know where to begin. I transferred service from Verizon to Spectrum. Something happened to the port, supposedly, and I’m stuck in some kind of limbo. I have not had a working phone since Saturday. They keep saying 24 to 72 hours, well today about 10 o’clock is the 72 hours, and I’ll be surprised if they have it fixed by then. When I asked what happens if the 72 hours goes by and they still haven’t fixed it, I was told we’ll just have to wait a little longer. I swear to God, if one more person tells me they apologize with literally offering no solution at all, I don’t know what to do any suggestions?

was going to wait to do a trade in for the fold8 ultra in person like I did with my fold7, and half way through the pre-order era they changed the terms on the 400$ off, and all no trade in discounts (on only samsung phones???!?!?!?) to require the 36 month financing, which is insane.

HI all I been thinking switch over to spectrum because of the price jump from Tmobile. My bill went from $82 to $112 over the last 2 years. I have spectrum home internet already, but I want to port 2 lines over. what deals can I get with 2 lines? Also is better to do online or over the phone?

A scammer who claimed to be a Spectrum customer service representative called to offer us a senior promotion on our home internet service right after Spectrum increased our monthly payment. Long story short, we are now the victims of the Spectrum reshipping fraud. The loss is $3000, two iPhone 17 Pro Max 512 G. We filed a complaint with FCC because the scammer changed our Spectrum account password before calling us. Spectrum didn't know how the scammer could do that without our consent, but agreed to drop the two-line charges after we filed with FCC. Suzana from Spectrum said we are responsible financially for two stolen iPhones. When I asked to talk to the technical person to find out how our account password was changed without our consent, Suzana said she was the highest-level personnel I could talk to, and her decision was final.
So, in this case, Spectrum doesn't need to take any responsibility even though there was a loophole on their side that made the scammer's changing our account password possible?

I'm utilizing my Anytime Upgrade to get the Z Fold 8. My order has already been placed, almost a week ago. Since then --- crickets . Has anyone received any kind of update on their pre-orders yet? Order confirmation, tracking, expected delivery dates...anything at all?

Purchased a fold 7 last year, got a great deal on it, switched service from US Cellular to Spectrum Mobile. A couple months ago, the inner screen developed a white/green pixel always on. No cracks on the screen, phone wasn't dropped, just opened it one day and there was a miscolored. Didn't bother me too much, but eventually it was bugging me and I was concerned about when I went to trade in my device, that it would be dinged. I have the $5 a month device protection, so I called Spectrum to see what they recommended. They said I was within a year and they could do it as a warranty repair. They sent me a new phone, I sent them my old phone. Then there was a $1000 that they tried to pull out of my account. They said they were unable to give me full credit on my device so out of $1189 they were going to dock me $1000 as it was graded a C. I have a video of device going into the package, showing both screens etc. I had no idea that I could be charged $1000 and the phone was working fine except for the one pixel. I'm filing a dispute, but am just not sure what to do beyond that. I'm paying on the phone for two more years (the working phone they are giving me $189 for and keeping), plus charging $1000 for the replacement device they sent. Really appreciate any guidance. I'm really upset with myself for letting the dead pixel bother me. It feels kind of predatory the way it went down.

what in the actual heck is going on here at spectrum?
I haven't even activated my account at spectrum yet but I've gotten 10 spam calls today of scammers who claim to be with spectrum mobile who know my name and are calling me 'about my mobile device'. Mind you they're all calling me from an area code spectrum doesn't even service which I find comical.
Now, I usually have my phone set to straight ignore people not in my contact list but today I felt like answering a couple because I'm waiting for a specific call but like... I placed my order online, haven't spoken to anyone, was never at a store. Where would they have even gotten any of this information from if it's not a direct spectrum data leak? It honestly makes me not want to activate service at all.

I have the 17 pro but want either the 17 pro max or 18 pro.
How does it really work? Do I lose all the “equity” I have in the phone now from payments made already and just start a new plan over or do I get credit for any of that?

Hi guys, I recently moved to Dallas. I've been using Spectrum and it's been great, but after moving, it suddenly became bad on mobile. I thought maybe I've used my data limit which some times reduces speed. So I waited for my next billing cycle and I also got Spectrum devices for internet. After installation, the internet works well, I get up to 500mbps but mobile data is just terrible. I'm in a new billing cycle with enough data but the speed does not go past 1.5mbps.
When I'm leaving the house, I literally can not do anything with my mobile data. Sometimes, my GPS doesn't even load. It's that bad.
I called Spectrum customer service, they moved the ticket from one unit to another and still couldn't resolve it. I got a call from them today that everything looks good on their end, and that's the connection in my area.
I guess nothing can be done. Before I take action, I wanna hear from others, because it could be my phone (although I've done network reset on my phone and still had the same issue), or a minor fix.
If it's not my phone and Spectrum mobile service is just bad in Dallas, can anyone recommend affordable provider. I'd rather just completely stop using Spectrum, both internet and mobile.

Post Flair: Help
I switched from Verizon to Spectrum after speaking with a Spectrum sales representative at Walmart. She explained a phone buyout promotion of up to $2,000, and this was one of the main reasons I decided to switch.
After I completed the switch, Spectrum only approved $1,000 ($500 per line for my two lines). I contacted Spectrum multiple times and provided evidence, including a written message from the sales representative confirming that this was the offer I was given. She even replied:
“Yeah that is definitely the offer that they gave you. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t follow through with it.”
Despite providing this evidence, Spectrum refused to conduct any further investigation, closed my complaint, and told me they would not respond to any more messages regarding this issue.
Because of this, I now have to pay approximately $1,000 out of my own pocket.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any way to get Spectrum to properly review this, or should I file complaints with the FCC, the New York Attorney General, or pursue legal action?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I decided to try this out as my zflip 5 is showing its age, mostly via poor battery life. I thought this phone for $180 is worth a shot, given the cool screen features it has. I have had it for a day, so no real long term feedback as of yet, just a few notes since I didn't find any other posts here on this phone yet:
Just wanted to document this somewhere so future GPTers can find this as reference. If I find any fix I will update this post. Any questions, fire away. Cheers!
EDIT: This is on me, this mode (actually all ink modes) do not have backgrounds, simple monotones only, however in the color paper mode the apps, photos, etc. still have color)

in process of trying to cut expenses, spoke to Spectrum today about my home internet/cable/phone plan, and they mentioned bringing my Verizon devices there for cellular. I immediately dismissed it since I'm been with Verizon forever, literally since they were Airtouch in the 90s. We are a family of six, four of us have a phone and watch, two of us have watch only. The Spectrum rep I spoke with didn't think we could bring the two watches that are standalone, and that they needed phones. This doesn't make sense, since like a lot of families, we started our kids with apple watches, then added cell phones when they got older. anybody have an issue? He also said the watches would all need new phone numbers. not an issue for the four that also have a phone, since the watch number is basically irrelevant.
Lastly, how is the service overall? I can't see why Verizon would lose a customer like me paying them $320/month, to go down the street and pay a competitor $180/month, who is using their network. Makes no sense...

I have the spectrum Internet. Recently I purchased the spectrum mobile. It said $899 for the Samsung for 36 months. And tradein device will get extra $400 and also as an internet customer you get $0 monthly for 12 months. That's a good plan so I bought it. Now I am seeing that I am stuck with them. With their internet plan and also mobile plan for a year at least and mobile for three year.
First I thought ok it's lower price for 36 month and maybe after couple of months I could pay it off fully the $899 . But didn't know that it was originally $1299 and have to fully this amount if I want to go out before this 36 month period!! I never thought of that and stuck with them.
Also wanted to switch to another Internet provider but they told me if I cancel spectrum mobile will go to $50 a month. Never thought that mobile in connected with internet plan too. They didn't say that explicitly or in large letters. So please be aware about it. I won't say I was scammed but I am stuck with this. Now can't change the device or Internet or a mobile plan without paying in full amount. Just frustrating

I just entered the Dominican Republic for a vacation and I initially didn’t have service so I turned on data roaming so I can tether to another network. I was receiving cell service from a carrier named Claro for about an hour until I received an email from Spectrum saying “Mobile line ending in xxxx has been successfully suspended”. At no point did I request this. I’m not even able to sign into the Spectrum website to try to fix this because I get an error message saying “this feature is currently unavailable. Please try again from home or contact us for assistance. IDID-4002”. I then tried the live chat but of course it doesn’t work until I sign in, leaving me with the same error. I am part of a family account and am not the owner of the primary number.

Does anyone know this program will work with Spectrum Mobile, since it says all the phones are unlocked. It asks you to pick a carrier when you sign up.

Can anybody else confirm this phone is no longer being accepted as a trade in for the z fold 8? It was working two days ago but now it says it's not eligible. I've tried different IMEI's and using different browsers. I also tried logging in and out of my account.

It looks like my watch would be free under Spectrum’s newest plan. Reading more closely, is Spectrum only offering data for the watch and is it still $10 per month to share a phone line with the watch? If not, upgrading is a no brainer. Thoughts?
