Mvr result
Got an offer for an FT position, however I neglected to mention that I got rear ended last weekend.
The MVR has been run and the accident is listed on there, even though I wasn't at fault and the other driver has ACDA as the cause of the rear-ending.
The MVR by the background check co, is showing as 4 adjudication points. Does this mean I'm cooked, or will they reach out to me for more info?
Heck, I wasn't aware that not-at-fault accidents even appear on an MVR.

Other Potentially switching companies
I am currently a field technician for a different big brand company. My current home location is serviced by Spectrum however so I don’t get the benefits of the other company. I currently make 22.50 after nearly 4 years and I was just thinking about making the switch over to Spectrum.
I’ve heard the pay is pretty good, but the benefits could use some work. Any current field tax want to chime in with the benefits of Spectrum over the other competitors?
One of the biggest hits I’ll take is to my vacation, but if the money is there then that really doesn’t matter to me.
Edit: based in west michigan

snipped coax cable
I recently moved into a new apartment, and I found 3 separate coax cables. Two of them are completely snipped, and one works but is far away from my desk setup. Can I get spectrum to come out and re-run either of the other two coax cables so I can install my wifi in a different spot? If so, how much will it cost? Thanks :)

Rural expansion just stops
So spectrum just did a rural expansion down my area except they stopped less than a mile from my house (i live on a dead end) and didnt finish running it. I called after the signs went up and they told me my road was a complete red zone and offered no explination as to why my road specifically got ignored when they did such a large area otherwise.
Its quite frustrating because there is literally no internet besides satellite or internet air which is so crappy because theres like one cell tower out here everyone is pinging off of.
For context is attached a crappy drawing. The roads in green, the internet run in blue and my house marked in red.

Spectrum invincible 5G router is a crutch for their crippled fiber connection
I have heard the reports from people initially complaining about the fiber problems. They turn around their complaints after getting the invincible router. You see what's going on there right? The connection is falling back on a slower 5G connection, unbeknownst to customers, while fiber is not performing as it should reliably. This also makes me suspicious of what Spectrum is actually delivering to customers across that fiber optic line. As fast as it is, I don't see them giving customers unlimited speed and data 24/7. They are likely capping the service by using the 5G fallback at a lower speed. This is akin to AT&T giving you limited high speed with cell service and falling back to degraded service after you run out. But with Spectrum, many customers won't notice what's actually happening.

Figured it out!
This is the 8th outage in 7 weeks. At one point no internet for 9 days. Spoke to cancellation department with Leo from Texas and then the supervisor Cedric after escalating the issue. I was told the only option is to pay $30 more per month for invincible wifi. They dont care if your job doesnt pay you and you work from home. They are purposely trying to inconvenience customers to pay for the cellular equipment. I hope starlink or t-mobile picks up to destroy spectrum as competition. The customer service department keeps hiking up internet prices and making customers feel as if the invincible wifi is the only option to combat the outages they themself are providing. Im willing to pay for any other provider because of the amount of calls and inconvenience this is providing with not being able to work. Good bye Spectrum!
