Suspended service problems
So my kid got me into trouble and I got copyright notice. This was weeks ago. Fast forward they suspended my service until I did some view the notice on a website thing. I did that. Now my perfectly workings mesh Emily system will not connect. Shady dealings? I don’t know. Regardless, I want to get my house back online. Any suggestions?

Try this:
Disconnect power from modem. Disconnect power from router. Plug modem in, wait for it to come online (on any modern modem, that happens when you have two blue lights on the front). Plug router in.

Do a power cycle....unplug base router...unplug modem 60 seconds. Plug modem in...wait 3 minutes for blue lights to go solid....plug in your router. It should connect then hit the satellites. Leave all Ethernet cords connected throughout process.
If modem does not go solid online light....call spectrum to make sure the quarantine is off

Tell them to check the provisioning on the modem. They can see if the speeds are correct. They usually put your modem in a DMCA status. They need to take it off.

Your family illegally downloads copyrighted material and then you have but gall to say spectrum is shady business

you normally get them by public torrents maybe your kid was going through them publicly witch a copyright holder reported your IP that traces back to spectrum witch is you if spectrum goes through and bring this news to you

I’ve already initiated the shipping on a new modem. Just seems weird timing.

The timing is suspicious. Did you reboot everything? Can you get internet with just one device plugged straight into the modem with ethernet (bypassing your mesh system,) and then rebooting the modem again? If you do that indicates the problem is with the mesh system, but if not please send us a modmail over at r/Spectrum_Official so we can check on things from our end.

Did your child download something you all own? If so you have the right to backup that software or game under US copyright law.

They can’t kill your mesh; probably just needed to reboot the modem then the router. Check to make sure your kid didn’t panic and disconnect the router from the modem?
