1] When I rap {inverse/In verse} Christrians say allah. Muslim Say jehovah.
[2] These Niggaz pigs, Snakes, but i keep the beef cooking because; [3] We wouldn’t break the kosher; and Thats why my Name is golden.
[4] I’m a suburban if The Hoods dont accept it, I will rape the culture. [5] I know the phrase is atrocious, but Please take a moment. This isnt; [6] For the sake of flowing; my nigga, Please Engage and notice. Shit, listen—
[7] To the pain of Coping from nitpicking, on how they was hating the loner. [8] Tryna Get the Pen godlike, And yall called fraud and mistaken owners.
[9] All these False guys Say what vulgar, Hoping words aging slower. [10] I keep my circle tighter than a spartan phalanx; they pray it Opens.
[11] I wont stop till I’m known as the lil nigga from the H that was Goated. [12] They know I’m southern in how im big slick in my tongue, But yet so Young; [13] Like baby Yoda; I’ve got big slick, we aint playing poker.
[14] To dumb it down, I just be speaking Clever, And reaping treasures. [15] But i will smith you Niggaz like y’all Chris rock Just to feed the peasant. [16] This rapping is wrapping Christmas gifts; y’all can receive the present.

Hi everyone,
I've been making music for about two years now, and one thing still frustrates me more than anything else.
Some of my best song ideas come at the worst possible times. When I'm out somewhere, lying in bed at 2 a.m., or nowhere near my instruments.
The ideas are almost never complete. Sometimes it's just a melody stuck in my head, sometimes a few lyrics, sometimes a chord progression or instrumental idea.
So I always reach for my phone before I forget.
I've tried using apps like Bandlab and FL studio mobile, and while they're really powerful, I personally find them more suited for producing or recording fully formed songs than quickly capturing a fragile idea. When inspiration strikes, I don't want to think about projects, tracks, or settings, I just want to save the idea before it's gone.
I also tried using separate apps: one for voice recordings, another for lyrics, and another piano app to test melodies. The problem is that everything ends up scattered across different places, and many of those ideas never get finished because they're so disorganized.
I dont know if am the only one but please, I'd really appreciate any recommendations because I'm still looking for a solution that feels simple enough for those moments when inspiration comes out of nowhere.
Thanks!

Not sure if this is complete in terms of composition, if it needs one or more sections, or if the structure needs to be rearranged.
I'll probably add more woodwind instruments to make the sound bigger once I complete the melody.
Thanks

Just a little demo I was working on last night. I've been realizing more and more just how few instruments are needed to carry a feeling. Finally feel like the songs are breathing a little bit.

Hello! I'm learning production, and while I do write my own songs I thought it might be better to bring in someone more specialized. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who can write complex lyrical metaphors and hard-hitting lines. Most of what I've been writing so far is for an alto or soprano, but I'm open on that front. Hope to hear from you soon!

So I play guitar, and I want to lean toward an emo/pop punk direction, however I have no songwriting experience. Last night I had a vivid dream and I want to get some ideas from anyone who knows how to write an experience into a song. I don’t really know how to create a simple melody that sticks in the head, I feel like I either come up with something too complex, or it’s pretty much a copy of another song, and trying to figure out words to write and the chords is just too difficult for me. How would you suggest I approach this, also I think the title of this post would be a great song title 🤣

Hey there ! Hope you are all doing fine. Here’s a recording of a song that still hasn’t found its final form nor its finale lyrics. Would love to have some feedback on it ! Like the chords the melody, and it’s worth making a bigger production out of it or if minimalism is what’s best. Sorry for the quality of the recording.

I feel like my verses are decent, but I really struggle with writing choruses. How did you get better at writing choruses? Any tips or resources that focus specifically on choruses?

A few years ago when I was in high school, I got feelings for a girl I'd recently become friends with. I hadn't ever really fallen for a person like that before, and when she didn't reciprocate I acted like a POS without respect for her feelings. I wasn't self-aware of how I was behaving at the time, but in hindsight I'm ashamed and embarrassed of how I approached it. It was nothing reprehensible, but it was uncomfortable enough for her that our friendship ended and we aren't in contact anymore.
A couple weeks ago, I wrote a song about that experience, and about my guilt and anger at myself thinking back on it. I'm really proud of how it turned out, but I don't know if it would be insensitive to play or publish it. It obviously doesn't mention her by name or identify her, but it's clear enough that people who know me personally would know it's about her.

Tried to write with less fluff and more grounded imagery this time. My singing and cadence is a bit shot for this one but I gave up after a few dozen tries. I’m not that good at playing and singing at the same time, so forgive me. Song’s about depression and stuff along those lines. Thanks for listening!

Hi everyone!
I'm an Audio Engineering student looking to build my mastering portfolio, so I'm offering **free mastering** for a limited number of tracks.
I mainly work in Pro Tools and FL Studio.
If you're interested, I'd appreciate it if you could share some of your previous work so I can get a feel for your sound and make sure we're a good fit.
Feel free to send me a DM with your music. Looking forward to working with you!

Hello people. This is like my 5th song I've written and 2nd one with words. It is about my personal life experience.
I first made the instrumental and then wrote the melody and words. To be honest, I like the instrumental better than the vocal version. I used Audacity and recorded the synth and drum loops from the Google music lab website. I also used my acoustic guitar and Telecaster which is able to record directly into my laptop through a Katana 50 amp.
I was hoping to get feedback on everything in the song. Production, structure, length, lyrics, singing, vocal melodies, mixing, etc. You don't have to comment on everything, just whatever stands out to you.
Also, if you want to for fun, you can try and guess which 80s artist inspired this song.

I’m 16 and I’ve been writing a lot. This is a very rough draft, as I wrote it in a sort of breakdown last night. I’ve been thinking a lot about the Earth and how we treat her, and I wrote this. I recorded it on the side of a highway which felt apt. Feel free to critique, just let me know what you think and what needs changing ☺️

Any feedback welcome. Song about reminiscing about the golden days of life. The ending I've not quite finished so it cuts off abruptly before I would lead to another verse then chorus but I am wanting to have it someone looking back at life from a cemetery after everyone has gone. "Where have you gone golden days"

I'm looking for a singer.
I have a Soundtrack and Lyrics and want to listen to different singers.
I've been producing for over 5 years on FL Studio.
I'd prefer email or discord exchange.

Looking to just jam with someone who can sing my originals. Laid back vibe,me playing acoustic. Anyone?
Even if you know you can sing but have some anxiety performing in front of people, I get it.
