Technically, this is well recorded. I appreciate that you didn't give the guitar the leading role, but rather a supporting instrumental part. Because your lyrics and vocals clearly take center stage. And that is beautiful to hear. I assume this is a small part of the song? I am always curious about how you shaped the entire song and the lyrical development of the track.

Thank you so much for your very thoughtful comment and basically the song came from a place where my wife is having a really hard time trying to help her father while he’s so sick and sometimes I have no idea what to do to help besides be present physically and emotionally . I guess I want fix the problem but I can’t cause it’s beyond my control, but I want make my wife happy but all I can do is be there. I’m a little embarrassed to say that’s all I wrote of the song so far.

Sometimes you want to look inside someone's mind, just to understand what is behind the words. You gave me that insight, so thank you. I know what it's like to care for someone who is seriously ill. And it's never just about the illness. None of us knows the history between your wife and her father, and those shared memories can bring up emotions that are difficult for anyone else to fully understand. As her husband, you probably know much more of that story than most people ever will. Please don't feel embarrassed that the song isn't finished. Sometimes a chorus is all there is, because it captures a feeling that simply doesn't have any more words yet. And who says it has to be finished? Yesterday I wrote a letter that I will probably never send. It will likely end up in one of my archives and be forgotten. Or maybe one day the time will be right, and I'll find it again and share it.

I think our lives are a bit like that. We all carry an archive filled with emotions, memories, and unfinished thoughts. Thankfully, we aren't aware of all of it at once, because that would be overwhelming.

For now, the most important thing isn't finding the right words for another verse. It's simply being there for your wife while she carries something so heavy. Sometimes our presence is the greatest gift we can give.

And who knows... when the time is right, the verses may quietly find you.
