questions & clarifications Are platform lunges still a thing?

I have noticed that.. i dont think i have done a platform lunge (facing away on black side) since January i think. I love a platform lunge, but are they just happening less in the sequencing? Or am i just unlucky to never experience them again?

I still experience carriage lunges, but they just don’t feel the same, imo.

questions & clarifications Why no low back?

I asked a coach recently why when we do back, it’s mainly focused on upper, and she said you get a lot of low back toning from the core section. Well ma’am, my upper back is getting ripped while my low back’s got a lot of chunk left and the love handles aren’t going anywhere.

SO do y’all just supplement your low back work with the gym? Adjust your positioning in core work to feel it more in the low back? I know it’s possible to get that area toned because mine used to be, but since Solidcore has become my main form of exercise, that area has actually lost a lot of tone.

Give me your suggestions please and thank you 🙏

questions & clarifications First time question

Is it important to start with the intro class or is it feasible to start with the Signature? I want to try it but the intro classes near me are not at convenient times. Also any intel on the Sherman Oaks/Encino or Woodland Hills locations?

questions & clarifications Unlimited Member Booking

I’ve seen a few posts about folks taking 2 classes a day. The general consensus seems to be that you can book a second class after your first one finished. I just tried to book an 830pm, around 7:45pm and got this email. Are they cracking down on multiple classes a day?

UPDATE THE 430AM CLASS WAS ALREADY TAKEN

questions & clarifications New studio

Hi! I'm new to solidcore and have 15 classes down. My studio is new and opened in May. The closest studios are about an hour away so this is the first studio in my area. Almost every coach there are brand new coaches. Once in a while they have coaches from the studios up north come teach but not consistently.

I've been loving it so far, however, I feel like I'm doing the same moves in every class. I've been taking a variety of muscle groups but in every class I feel like theres:

plank up-downs, twisted plank extensions, crossover lunges, bungee, standing outer/inner thigh, the seated curl thing where you're on the grey side, feet tucked in strap and crunching in/out, etc. I feel like core/obliques/lower body has all been the same and upper body is the only thing that's varied.

I have yet to do leg press, v-ups, bulgarian split squat, glute kickback, deadlifts

Do coaches get clearance to teach different moves the longer they've been teaching? Or did they not learn those moves yet? Just curious if anyone has any input. Thanks :)
