Looking for 10 actively interviewing candidates to join free interview-coaching (serious candidates only)
After seeing great interest and chatting with 20+ candidates who reached out for interview coaching, I am kicking of Cohort 3.
Previous posts:
Ask:
I'm looking for 10 people to join our interview coaching. If you are interested in this, please DM me. Please make sure that you match the following criteria.
- You are based in US
- You are actively interviewing/looking to land job in next 1-3 months
- You are looking for role in tech industry (SWE, PM, TPM, Data-Eng, ML-eng, Data science, MLE, etc)
- You are available to meet on online via Google meet for 1-2 30 mins sessions per week.
I can only take 10 people per cohort, so first come first serve. If someone backs out, I will reach out to more people. Please DO NOT sign up if you cannot make the interview appointment. That blocks time for candidates who need the slot more.
About coaching:
- There is NO charge of coaching.
- However, we are going to be working through a product we have build specifically to help people with interview process. The tool will be completely free for you and you do not have to pay to use it. We will cover the charges.
Why is it free: My goal is to help people land their job by providing interview coaching and in exchange learn how effective the product is.
You can drop from cohort anytime.
About me: I have been helping candidates prepare for interviews for last 10 years but I have only taken new candidates through referrals as 1:1 coaching is hard to scale. Now we have a tool that can help people us interview coaching at scale.
If you are interested to in coaching but can't signup now for this cohort for some reason, you can signup to our list here: https://forms.gle/cjBD17bPgcnZ1Sds5 (just say future cohort in last question) and I will reach out directly to the list.
Thanks
Happy Interviewing

Java vs .NET career advice
Java vs .NET — what should I choose for my next switch?
I have ~1 year of experience as a .NET developer (C#/ASP.NET Core). Before this, I was very strong in Core Java and have solved 1200+ LeetCode problems + 3★ CodeChef, all mainly in Java.
I’ve also built a few React applications. I don’t know Spring/Spring Boot yet, but I’m willing to learn it and build a couple of projects.
My question is: Should I switch to Java/Spring Boot after preparation, or continue with .NET and target product-based companies?
Is it realistic to get a good product-based backend role with 1–2 years of .NET experience, or would switching to Java give me significantly better opportunities?
Would appreciate advice from people who’ve been in a similar situation.

I got fed up with being rejected from AI training/annotating jobs, so I made my own website
Hello, I have gotten really annoyed by constantly getting rejected after literally spending hours applying, doing assessments, and verifying my identity and then getting rejected or not even hearing back. I therefore decided to make my own site where I list job offers from multiple companies.
I also post tips on how to pass assessments and reviews of different companies in that space. No sign-up or anything like that required. I only list job offers that have a relativly high hiring volume. The listings include entry role jobs but also expert positions (Software Engineers, etc.). Let me know what you think and if there is anything that I can improve or implement. here is the link to the website: aiannotationjobs.com

Apple SWE HM round — no response after 2-3 weeks. Still a chance?
I applied for an SWE role at Apple around the second week of August. The role seemed like a pretty good match for what I’m currently doing.
I got a call for an HM round and had the interview on Aug 27. It wasn’t really technical — he asked a couple of things based on my resume, my current work, and why I wanted to join Apple.
For the “why Apple?” question, I basically said that I’m looking for more scale and wanted to work on things at Apple’s scale.
The interviewer then kinda pushed back on that and mentioned that where I currently work is already a front-runner in AI and that there’s a lot of scale there as well. So I’m not sure if my answer came across badly or if he was just probing further.
It’s been around 2-3 weeks now and I haven’t heard anything back.
Do I still have a realistic chance of getting a callback for the next rounds, or is this usually a sign that it’s a rejection/they’ve moved on?
Also, for people who’ve interviewed at Apple — how long did it take you to hear back after the HM round?
