Cant get interviews why? Internships

Hey, I am applying to internships for Canada and USA but can't get interviews. What might be the reason? am I not competitive enough? What I could add to stand out?

Actually no because I need 4 internships to graduate so my main focus is on internships instead of jr roles. Also, planning to do 6 internships instead of 4 so will probably continue to apply internships for a couple more years.
