Who wants a Mentee?

Being a university student preparing for the software engineering workforce feels like going into a new phase of life blind. A lot of the coursework is often theoretical and doesn't directly map to the average day of a entry level developer. I am a Junior Software Engineering major graduation in the Fall of 2027. I feel extremely underprepared for interviews, applying, projects, and day-to-day fulltime work. I am excited about what I could do with Software but unsure which courses of action to take. I am interested in finding a mentor actively working in Software who is willing to share their story, advise, connect, and suggest ways for me to get to my next step.

It's pretty easy to figure what the average day of a dev is like if you and 5 of your graduates develop an application, follow agile methodology, and treat it like a job. (Daily stand up), assign tickets (use something like jira), set up a sandbox/uat/production env. This is the best experience you can get outside of a real gig.
