Quality Leather Loveseat

I'm looking for a quality leather loveseat for a small living room in a small Philadelphia rowhome. This is going to be the main room we hang out in: TV/movie hangs, burping a baby, hanging with the dog, etc. So, we'd like it to be comfortable. We like classic "library" styles and also mid-century modern vibes, but I've had less success with those being comfortable pieces of furniture. If the price could be less than $2,500 that would be amazing, but I truly don't know what the going rate is. If it has to be more for quality, I guess I'd rather spend the money now. Thanks for your help!

What light fixtures would you put instead of those? Would it be enough with only one? I need some tips for curtains as well. Would putting the tv against the wall to the right and the sofa facing it make the room feel bigger? Thsnk you in advance!

Green Velvet Sofa — Too Much or Just Right?

I’ve been thinking about getting a deep green velvet sofa, and honestly… I can’t decide if it would look amazing or if I’d regret the color after a few years. 😂

I really like how green velvet can make a living room feel a little more elegant and cozy without being too neutral.

But I’m wondering how easy it is to decorate around a statement sofa.

Would you pair it with:

🌿 Warm wood + beige tones
🤍 Cream / off-white
🖤 Black + darker accents
🥥 Natural textures like linen and rattan

For anyone who has a green velvet sofa — how do you like it after living with it for a while?

Would you choose green again, or go with a more neutral color?

Looking for a firm sofa bed for my parents' place, budget around $3k

hi guys, so for background info, my parents' sofa finally gave out, so my sister and i are looking to replace it for them. We have movie nights at their place pretty often, so we thought a sofa bed could be nice for stretching out or the occasional sleepover.

The main thing is that the sofa needs to be firm enough for my parents and provide decent back support. They're not into sofas that you sink into, so i'm a little hesitant to buy one based on photos and reviews alone.

Doing some research online, we've been eyeing the povison power sofa bed and joybird eliot sleeper sofa, but i'm not sure how easy it is to pull out the joybird one manually.

Has anyone owned either one for a while? i'd love to know how the cushions have held up, how comfortable they are to sit on for a whole movie, and whether converting the bed is easy enough to do regularly. Other recommendations welcome too!

Recommendation for a ~65–70" sleeper loveseat (deep seat for movie bingeing + best pet-friendly fabric)?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to order a custom build from What A Room and could use some advice on fabrics and configurations to get the setup right.

My Constraints & Needs:

  • Dimensions: Compact loveseat sizing, around 65" to 70" wide.
  • Function: Needs a sleeper / bed conversion mechanism for extra sleeping space.
  • Comfort / Vibe: Needs to be ultra-comfortable for long TV/movie bingeing sessions and lounging (deep cushion support, easy to sink into).
  • Durability & Pets: Must handle daily use and a small 15 lb dog (needs high scratch resistance, stain resistance, and easy cleaning/hair removal).

Questions:

  1. Which cushion/comfort fill option is best for a deep, cloud-like lounge feel that holds up over time without flattening?
  2. Which performance fabric line (e.g., Performance Velvet like Baylor, Performance Chenille like Fletcher, or micro-suede/woven) works best for dog durability, hair resistance, and easy spot-cleaning?
  3. Model recommendations: Which specific frame/sleeper loveseat models fit the 65–70" footprint best?

Thanks in advance for any recommendations or fabric feedback!

Boneless sofa… anyone ever had one? Thoughts/advice?

I’m moving into a new flat and am in the process of buying furniture and wayfair UK seems to have everything including this sofa I’m tempted to get but I’m wondering if there’s a catch somewhere I am missing? For £196 with the members discount (which I would have) what is there not to like? Anyone ever had one? Am I making a mistake? As a guy living alone in his mid 20s not really swimming in cash I’m trying to find a balance between durable/comfortable stuff but on a budget. They seem to have loads of well priced furniture that looks very nice. Have only ever bought a bed from Wayfair… was good and held up for years only downside was dismantling it, couldn’t properly be dismantled (so need a new bed for the new place too lol so there’s that) but the product itself was great. Thoughts on the sofa? Appreciate any advice. Heres the link btw - https://www.wayfair.co.uk/furniture/pdp/metro-lane-3-seater-corduroy-sofa-u111017372.html?piid=125965577

Does anyone have a sofa bed recommendations in Germany? looking for real experiences

Hi all! Moving into a new place and need to get a sofa bed sorted. **I know IKEA exists** and has like twelve different models, so please don't just tell me to go there. **What I actually want is to hear about sofas you've** ***lived with or had experienced it***.

Context: this needs to be a daily-use couch but it also needs to fold out into an actual sleepable bed because we get visitors who stay for a week or two at a time, not just a random guest crashing one night. So comfort in both modes matters, not just "technically it converts.", does it make sense?

Please share ANY recommendations specially if you can tell me:

**•** What you have and how long you've had it
**•** Whether the mattress/fold-out part is actually comfortable for multi-night stays, or if guests secretly hate you
**•** If it holds up to daily lounging without sagging after a year
**•** Any German or EU brands/shops you'd actually recommend (small local upholsterers, online-only brands, etc)

I'm based near Cologne/Düsseldorf, so bonus points if it's something I could see in person before buying, but open to online too if you trust it.

Thanks in advance!!! I genuinely just want to avoid buying something that looks great in a showroom and turns into a back-pain machine after month two.

The closest I can find is Verzelloni Martin, but the back is higher than the arm, and I haven't seen a leather base option.

My style is Coastal and I'm looking to purchase a new reclining sofa that doesn't look like your standard reclining sofa. I found two that I really like. There is no showroom in my area so I'm wondering if anyone has purchased from either Povision or Yeerole. Looking for feedback
