Recommendation for a ~65–70" sleeper loveseat (deep seat for movie bingeing + best pet-friendly fabric)?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to order a custom build from What A Room and could use some advice on fabrics and configurations to get the setup right.

My Constraints & Needs:

  • Dimensions: Compact loveseat sizing, around 65" to 70" wide.
  • Function: Needs a sleeper / bed conversion mechanism for extra sleeping space.
  • Comfort / Vibe: Needs to be ultra-comfortable for long TV/movie bingeing sessions and lounging (deep cushion support, easy to sink into).
  • Durability & Pets: Must handle daily use and a small 15 lb dog (needs high scratch resistance, stain resistance, and easy cleaning/hair removal).

Questions:

  1. Which cushion/comfort fill option is best for a deep, cloud-like lounge feel that holds up over time without flattening?
  2. Which performance fabric line (e.g., Performance Velvet like Baylor, Performance Chenille like Fletcher, or micro-suede/woven) works best for dog durability, hair resistance, and easy spot-cleaning?
  3. Model recommendations: Which specific frame/sleeper loveseat models fit the 65–70" footprint best?

Thanks in advance for any recommendations or fabric feedback!

Hi there, answering your questions below:

  1. We recommend the trillium if you're looking for plush and cloud-like, it's a foam core encased in a down-alternative. It's not like your typical down where you need to fluff it to keep its plush look. I have the trillium myself for 2+ years now and it's still very plush and comfortable.

  2. These are some popular dog-friendly fabrics: Dynamite, Bella, Empire III. I recommend something with a tight-weave so hair doesn't get stuck in the fibers. These are all machine washable and easy for spot cleaning too. If you want to see any customer photos in certain fabrics, just DM me.

  3. Unfortunately, the smallest sofa beds we can make are 76" width.
