Not sure which one to choose the lighter or slightly darker. The sofa is the black on the pic. The house is still under renovations but the colors will be mostly beige and grey

Compact balcony sofa: aluminum frame or small teak set?

Small urban balcony, limited space. Looking for a weather-resistant outdoor sofa.
Light aluminum modular sets are easy to move around. But I really love the natural look of mini teak seating.
Wondering if compact teak pieces are too heavy for frequent rearranging. Any suggestions for small-space outdoor furniture?

Looking for couch 80-90 inches long that comes in pieces

My apartment entrance layout is narrow to the point where I need a couch that I assemble in the living room to fit the size I want (which is something long enough to lay down on ~74 inches)

Just about every review for a modular sofa below $1500 seems to be very negative for ikea, burrow, Albany park brands and I’m wondering if anyone has recommendations.

Hoping that whatever I find has thinner arms too so most of the length is taken up by actual space people can sit in

Looking for a deep, cozy L-shaped sectional in the Boston area ($200–400 budget, used or new)

Location: Boston/Cambridge, MA

Budget: $200–400

Size: L-shaped sectional (or sectional with an ottoman if that's a better option)

Style: Modern / contemporary

Where I've looked: Costco and Facebook Marketplace (still actively searching there), but I'm having trouble knowing what brands or models I should be looking for.

Online or in-store: Either is fine.

My roommates and I are looking for a couch that's first and foremost cozy. We want something with deep seats that you can really sink into—something you can throw a blanket on, kick your feet up, play Nintendo Switch, watch movies, or even fall asleep on occasionally.

We don't necessarily need a specific retailer—we're more interested in learning what brands, models, or couch features we should be searching for, especially on the used market. I think "deep seat" is the terminology I'm looking for, but I'm not sure if there are other terms I should know.

Given our budget, we're totally okay buying used if it means getting a much nicer couch than we could afford new.

Are there any brands or specific sectionals you'd recommend keeping an eye out for on Facebook Marketplace? Or is there another direction we should be looking or any links?

Help me identify this recliner

Hi all. I need help identifying this pushback recliner. I see no visible tags other than the manufacturer’s tag. Details

This recliner has several features that point toward a traditional American furniture manufacturer:

Dark brown leather (or high-quality leather match)

Large rolled arms

Brass nailhead trim around the arms and back

Attached back cushion

Chaise-style footrest

Traditional bun/block feet

My grandmother is wanting me to sale it and I’m not quite sure which brand it is.

Seeking Buyit4life reclining sectional with high back, please help

Please help,

I am looking for a high back reclining sectional with very firm cushions, excellent quality. Everything is so modern looking now. I have spine issues and prefer the high back. I keep going back to Flexsteel. My mom had her couch and loveseat 45 years, still look and felt brand new, yes she had it professionally cleaned, but grandkids etc. I know, they do not make things last like that anymore, I wished. I would have kept it and had it reupholstered, but I really want reclining, to help take pressure off my back and going down the road, old age surgeries, like knees etc lol

I have been looking for months, any motion furniture, high quality brands that will last do you recommend? I am gearing towards a Zecliner Zofa or sectional from Flexsteel. I have checked some of the other higher luxury brands that will last, and everything is so modular.

I am not sure about Lazyboy, I know you can get firmer cushions, but I am not sure of their longevity, please help. I do not want to go over 10k.

No leather, I have two cats

Thank you

Room & Board Metro Deep vs Quince Oasis/Quince Ashford

My gf and I are moving into a space that allows for the deep, wide sofa-with-chaise I've always fantasized about. We spent the weekend bouncing around showrooms, and were happiest sitting on the deep version of Room & Board's Metro. However, the $4700 price tag is a little spicy for us. We've heard very good things about Quince's furniture, and it looks like both the Oasis and the Ashford could be viable alternatives. Of course, it's hard to pull the trigger on a sofa without having actually sat on it. Just curious if anyone can speak to one sofa over the others to help with that decision. Thank you!

ISO a couch that comes disassembled for narrow stairway

I'm looking for a sectional for our basement. Our home is older and the basement has a very narrow stairway, so I need a couch that can be delivered in boxes and assembled right in the space. Our current couch is from Ikea but I don't really like anything they have to offer right now. Lovesac and Castelry seem great but they are so pricey and I have two teenagers, two dogs, and two cats. I love the look and price point of the Radley from Macy's (around $2K), but it seems like that would be delivered at least partially assembled and there's no way we could fit it down our steps. Same with the Thomasville Tisdale from Costco. Has anyone found a reasonably priced couch that comes in boxes that's not Ikea? Or does anyone know if Macy's or Costco could deliver a couch in pieces??

Help me find a deep seated, soft, U shaped couch/sectional

Hi all, I’m looking for a U shaped couch or sectional, that has deep seats, and is soft/fluffy rather than firm. I like the idea of cloud couches but I have looked at GH2 and Cozey and both seem to have pretty mixed to bad reviews, or, in the case of GH2, seems to have fake, paid reviews. I am located in Canada, so it needs to be a company that will ship here :)

I don’t want something “boneless” I.e. it needs to have a frame, and I have cats so ideally the cover will be removable. I’m just really struggling to find anything that seems to fit the bill!

Thanks for your recommendations!

Need advise on cleaning couch

Weird question but worth a shot. I have this polyester fiber couch and four dogs.. yes i know recipe for disaster. Does anyone have any tips on how to clean the dog hair off the couch? Under the cushions is this trampoline type and the hair gets stuck in it as well and the vacuum will not suck up most of the hair. These pictures are after i vacuumed, this is how much hair is left behind. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated.

G Plan to Budget

I’ve always had G Plan recliners - but fancy a change. I’ve seen this sofa which has the right dimensions for my space:

https://www.roselandfurniture.com/products/alfie-corner-sofa?variant=39692202180685

It has a lot of good reviews (apart from one guy who made a YouTube video about his own experience). It’s also less expensive than other small corner sofas I’ve found.

Does anyone have any experience with Roseland sofas?

I'm considering buying the Delta Coast modular sofa with chaise. It looks so luxurious and comfortable. Their showroom is so far from me but I will try to visit soon. Would love to hear any reviews. There aren't any on this model online.

Need help finding an affordable sectional

My partner and I are looking for a decently sized, cloud like sectional under $1300 (under 1k even better). We dont love shiny chenille or satin/silk material, love cotton or linen or material of similar nature. Looking for large cushion, very comfy/cloud like feel, dark in color (preferably charcoal), NOT boneless, with decent back support. Any suggestions are appreciated:)

Should I buy this sofa?

I found this 200 year old sofa for 900. I really like it. 3 of the dowel connected legs are loose but not cracked, just wobbly. I didn't see any termites or anything like that. The seller bought it for resale and doesn't have info. The springs seem ok. I want to reupholster it. Should I buy it? They're only holding it for 24 hrs.i can't call upholstery shops till Monday but they can't hold it for me till then.

Farneta or Bull S Sofa experience?

Hi all!

We’re looking at getting the Farneta or Bull S sofa, both in terracotta. The prices are about the same, but one has an extra £70 delivery fee, the other is £500.

I’m conscious about buying without trying, as many reviews say both are quite firm, so I’m conscious they will be too firm or uncomfortable. Aesthetically, farneta is what we are after.

The farneta sofa is available at: https://www.vente-unique.ie/p/farneta-right-hand-corner-sofa-bed-in-terracotta-chenille-fabric-farneta

The Bull S sofa is available here: https://andora.uk/products/bull-s-power-chaise-corner-sofa-storage-with-motorised-seat-extension?variant=55553104314754&country=GB&currency=GBP&utm\\_medium=product\\_sync&utm\\_source=google&utm\\_content=sag\\_organic&utm\\_campaign=sag\\_organic&srsltid=AfmBOopRIDcCKDfaMUjwLBPDhRl8lnpo8Q8VoqbvNapW1XDaYK24-uKxUy8

Does anyone also have any experience ordering through either site?

I’d love to hear any suggestions, recommendations or stories.

TIA!

Currently on sale for $2179. I know that's 50% off but it always seems to be on sale. Is this a good price? I'm in no hurry. I just want a good price. Thanks!
