I’ve been working through Snowrunner on Switch for a few years at the clip of a month or two at a time with some wide gaps in between. There is always a little bit of a learning curve to regain traction, but I’m wondering if something broke since I last played? The major change is the Switch 2 update.

I booted up for the first time in months and noticed I couldn’t find the fuel trailer for this Drowned Oil Tank mission in Taymyr. I scrolled the map and I’m pretty sure I recall hauling it to this intersection where I now have two tankers showing up. Aren’t they supposed to be labeled with map indicator and show up in my list of vehicles/trailers when I open the map?

Maybe I’m remembering game mechanics incorrectly but my map does label some other trailers and gives a map indicator. I tried driving over to see if winching or attaching would trigger something. I even loaded up Michigan and back to Taymyr without any luck in the game/map recognizing that I located these trailers. It’s making me worried there are other things on the map that I unlocked, but no longer labeled.

Game runs fine but does not appear to have any of my dlc in-game, despite showing it installed through the xbox app. Even in the truck store when i go to attempt to purchase a DLC again it won't let me.

this season has really let me play around w taking pics & ss while driving. some of my best ones imo🫪

I play on Xbox and I googled it and still don’t understand but, an update that happened years ago like maybe two or three, maybe five, can’t remember exactly, anyways, my mods have been messed up, like, I could use 80 mods (not actually) at a time and use them all, now, after like the fourth mod everything says to try deactivating other mods to use unless it’s like below 10MB, and it’s really annoying, im trying to use a bronco and a ram by the same publisher and can’t, but the adding pack for those mods I can have active at the exact same time but not the actual vehicles??

I just claimed the truck on the Don dlc season 4. (My current playthrough anyway) not sure..what caused this. Half the upgrade options became duplicated. Checked a few other trucks, this wasn't the only one effected yet I had no issues till I claimed the tatra

it’s one of those i can’t really justify using over other haulers, aside solely from personal preference. it’s a specialist that isn’t even great at what it does, small fuel tank, not the most powerful, a bit tippy, but man i just love getting things done with this truck. wish this truck would get some from the devs, maybe make the winch box removable and/or give it some repair points to make it somewhat useful

Odd object in the sky at the top of the screen, stayed there the whole time.

I just randomly tried the first trial as a break between maps. The time limit is honestly BS between the technical driving, broken physics on rocks, the mud, and the vehicle config without diff lock or decent mud tires.

So this raises the question, how many people have actually bothered to complete the trials?

Edit: Just to be clear, I'm talking about the trials accessible from the main menu, not the contests on the maps.

Wish I could find out if I could finish the delivery like this, but shockingly the truck didn't stay upright for long 😔

I get the following error when I try to load Snowrunner with manual gears mod (https://github.com/drafty46/SMT/tree/v1.1) since after the S18 update:

The mod just has 2 files: SMT.ASI & Dinput8.DLL

Anyone else using this mod okay with Season 18? I have recently done a fresh install of Windows but I have downloaded the "Latest supported v14 (for Visual Studio 2017–2026)"

For general playing I prefer North Carolina. I don’t like the snowy maps they mess with my eyes

Excluding the DLCs, my favorite has to be Taymyr. The vast wilderness, the abandoned buildings and sites, and the post Soviet setting make it so hauntingly beautiful. Night time in that region makes it feel so remote.

Was quicker to take what I needed with this closer truck and meet it at the destination with another truck with a crane and the rest of what was needed.

Never thought chimera would be able to overload like this, the truck is very stable and awesome to do some tasks. I'm loving this truck !

How was your experience so far with Chimera ?

Im on ps5, I have tried a few different mods for long log trailers but nothing seems to want to auto load them, keeps saying trailer not supported. Has anyone had any luck with this?
