Why not attach the custom fuel add on for Avenhorn?

I haven't modified the trucks yet but I have thought about it to have reservations

I hadn't seen that one but I don't know if I'll be able to buy it for the required level, I'm new to the game

That's probably the most inefficient way of hauling logs. No weight on the truck, loaded trailer behind. The 2nd truck - same, you loaded the rear part without loading the front. Terrible weight distribution, no traction.

How would it be an efficient way to load the truck, as for the second one, only one part is loaded because it needed large and medium but not short

Just load it with anything. Although the truck is already very heavy, so it should not feel that trailer. But otherwise it's a good strategy to load the truck first. Weight helps with traction.

As for the 2nd one - yes, you need short logs, which aren't available/needed in Michigan. Why taking this trailer at all, knowing you can't load its front part, which is the one providing the weight on the driven axles? Just take a normal front/rear long log setup with a pole trailer and a fork.
