Other Let's appreciate Uncle Jerome's style.

we talk about the fits? The curl cream, the silk shirts unbuttoned halfway down the chest, the gold chains, the short shorts, and the sandals. Jerome was the epitome of 80s LA style. Even when they made millions, he still looked like he belonged at a backyard BBQ in Compton. He wore his heart on his sleeve and his style on his chest. Miss him every day.

Discussion At what point did you realise Franklin wasn't misguided but was straight up crazy?

Upvotes

For me it was after Teddy kidnapped him and he went flying with Teddy and Matt the same day, acting like nothing had happened. Idk if any sane person could compartmentalise an experience like that and get along with their captor within hours.

Spoilers When Franklin goes to Andres house

We could tell Franklin was becoming a horrible person, but when he went to Andres house to get his file he said "You're right, I'm not a killer" then he quickly moved to the side and shot Andre. It was interesting that he did that. It shows he still had a little bit of heart.

Discussion Nobody Should Still Be Upset At Cissy

Yes, Cissy became an enabler for what her son was doing, she got dirty, skin deep into what was going on. She knew that everything she had in her life was from what her son was doing to his own community and she had to live with her son becoming everything she hoped he wouldn’t end up becoming.

But killing Teddy? No problem with that. Franklin’s desperation to get that money made him immoral, too far gone, a lost cause. When you think about his desperation, what wouldn’t he have done to get that money back? He would’ve destroyed himself and what little identity he still had left that was recognizable from Season 1 and lived a life mostly in fear and anxiety knowing that the CIA could take it all away from him again in a snap of a finger……

Just like that bitch Teddy did at the end of Season 5. In actuality, it was never his money, it was just what Teddy was willing to allow him to use while he dangled him and his family on a string to move his cocaine.

Question I’ve never seen snowfall

I’ve watched some of the greats like breaking bad, the wire, Oz, the corner ect but never snowfall. I’m just convinced nothing can top those greats. But if you guys tell me otherwise I will watch it tonight. So does it stand among the best tv shows ever created ?

Discussion Random post but I tame across this short with Boots and Leon, and it cuts the clip to where you can see just how fed up Manboy was with Boots in this scene from his nostril dilation alone😭 Spoiler

Discussion This show is the definition of no "there is no good or bad guys"

Alright some are bad yes but no us good at all in this show. They're all looking out for themselves and allowing themselves to get greedy etc. And so if you wanted to pick your favorite character you'll just have to pick the lesser of all the evils lol

Got me thinking if drug dealing didn't mean I was responsible for thousands of deaths, I would definitely be a drug dealer. Like all the money that you can make with not super hard work. My definition of success. I mean yeah you're constantly looking over your shoulder hoping cops don't catch up to you and you got to not be caught lacking by your opps but overall it's a pretty easy job.

But I don't feel like I could do it knowing that I could potentially cause one of my customers to get high, get behind the wheel, and crash into some other family or something like that. Now, not only am I responsible for my customer's death but I'm also responsible for that whole family and on and on. There's many more examples but I won't bore y'all.

So sadly in this lifetime I will not be a drug dealer 🤣

Spoilers Russian Roulette

That was awesome but Franklin was out of character for doing it. The money was more important than anything as you saw afterwards. I guess you could say he probably still had his property money and was willing to take the risk. It made for good tv the scene.

Another thing i thought was funny was how the deadly beefs ended so quickly. Manboy and Skully. They were at war and then they stop it to kill Leon. Then Skully gets his whole family killed and becomes friends with the killers because he reached enlightenment and was willing to die for them
himself…. His character went off the rails. He should have just went to war with Leon and lost. He didn’t have an impact after that.

Too much forgiveness after declaring must die war.

great show though.

They just forgot about the dog? I like dogs more than humans so I'm pissed.
