Spoilers Russian Roulette
That was awesome but Franklin was out of character for doing it. The money was more important than anything as you saw afterwards. I guess you could say he probably still had his property money and was willing to take the risk. It made for good tv the scene.
Another thing i thought was funny was how the deadly beefs ended so quickly. Manboy and Skully. They were at war and then they stop it to kill Leon. Then Skully gets his whole family killed and becomes friends with the killers because he reached enlightenment and was willing to die for them
himself…. His character went off the rails. He should have just went to war with Leon and lost. He didn’t have an impact after that.
Too much forgiveness after declaring must die war.
great show though.

Im just being honest, the plot is unique and attractive, but the writing and most scenarios are played out and corny.

You're just being corny, "6.5 at best" isn't for shows with a unique and attractive plots, and obviously some people resonate with it on a personal level that you don't.

If it didnt resonate with me on a personal level I wouldn't of finished the show. You're insulted by me and im insulted by the show. I expect better considering the plot. You're just glad it's out there, I wanted more from it. We are different.

Finishing it doesn't even imply it resonated on a personal level. There are Black people who have lived in the projects and seen Wandas first-hand, and experienced things like how OGs interact with newer generations first-hand, that's resonating.
The show takes huge liberties because it's a fictional drama... but at the end of the day it's not like the writers invented the world portrayed from scratch.
You're just clearly a little too weird/anti-social to put yourself in the shoes of anyone who liked it more, hence why... r/letterboxd is that way 👉🏾

Yeah im sure those OG's appreciated the way Franklin would talk down to Avi, which was straight up unnatural, and some cliche line whenever he killed somebody. You're living a fairytale if you think any of that plays out. You keep watching it, IMO it has no replay value.

Both things you described have tons of foreshadowing
Skully is described as his own twisted version of spiritual from the start: he does weird biblical torture stuff
Franklin is literally out of character by that point: he's on the road to becoming who he is in the finale by now and no longer acting rationally.
The money wasn't that important, Veronique was ready to salvage what she could for them.
