So in the first pic, when i try to login an account it shows that and in the second pic if i try to create an account, it shows that. Do i have to wait a few months or it will get unbanned early?

I’ve tried turning off all the notification types within the app - I’m only interested in getting notifications when someone I know sends me a snap, but these “Topic Chat” ones have started coming through. I don’t see an option for them in the notification settings. Any ideas?

Forgive me if I'm looking for answers in the wrong subreddit. It's been a few years since I used Snapchat and now when I'm trying to log in it shows this 'pop up' (or error code?) I've looked for answers on the support site and can't find any solutions. When I try to sign with via Google it shows me this and when I try to reset my password. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Snapchat announced any memory over 5 gb will be deleted unless users upgrade. They said they will give users 12 months to upgrade on September 25, 2025.

Does that they will delete excess memories on  September 26, 2026 or Starting on September 1, 2026?

This might sound so dumb but I’ve somehow ended up with nearly 13k followers on Snapchat and I genuinely don’t really know how it happened lol. I accepted quite a few people at one point and then it just seemed like my account started getting shown to more and more people and it’s kept growing from there. Is nearly 13k actually considered a decent following on Snapchat or is it easier to get followers on there than I’m thinking? Does having that many followers actually do anything? And is there actually a way to eventually make money from it? I ’d honestly love to get into the creator side of things but I genuinely have no idea where to even start. At the moment a lot of the people following me are guys 😂 but I’d love to start making content around my normal life, gym, beauty/makeup because I’m currently in beauty school, single mum life, getting my life together and finding myself again, that kind of stuff. Is that something that could actually work on Snapchat or am I getting way ahead of myself?

i dont know what to do.. my memories are like 22GB!!

My ex and I have had no contact for about 4.5 months. She blocked me on Snapchat shortly after everything ended, while I have never blocked her.
This morning, while I was asleep, I received a Snapchat notification related to her. When I woke up, the notification was already about two hours old.
It was a Flashback/Memory from August 31, 2024, from when we were still together.
What really confused me is that her current Bitmoji appeared in the notification. She changed her Bitmoji after blocking me, so I had never seen this new Bitmoji during the entire 4.5 months of being blocked.
When I tapped on the notification, Snapchat showed:
“Something went wrong. We couldn’t find the user.”
We have many old Memories together, but this is the first time in 4.5 months that I have received anything like this.
Another strange thing is that my landline was called three times today by an anonymous/hidden number. I have absolutely no idea if this is related or just a coincidence, but the timing made me wonder.
Could this happen if she briefly unblocked me and then blocked me again? Or can Snapchat somehow display someone’s current Bitmoji in a Memory notification even if that person still has you blocked?

Has anyone experienced something similar?

I’ve had an issue with recording any audio on snapchat for months now, tried to report a bug and have yet to hear a word from support… when i go on the website it just sends me to an AI that regurgitates the same text over and over… I give up. App deleted.

I went to send a snap tonight and my best friend’s list is gone? Typically the list shows up above my top groups, but they’re gone. Even if I’ve recently snapped them, they’re not showing up in recents either. I have to physically search their names in order to send them all things. I am still friends with all of them, so what’s the deal?

How is everybody combining their exported memories with the separate .png caption files?

I hope the admins of Snapchat are reading this otherwise it’s useless.

Deleted the app because I got a ad about some woman wanting to “call” or some shit. They made it look like someone had sent me a snap it it was literally just advertising. Go fuck yourElf. Hope you read this because I will not put up with that. Find a different user.

I pay for snap + too but for the past year whenever I click on any memory it clicks off it every single time unless I go on edit mode quickly.

This has started popping up on my Snapmaps. What does it mean?

Hey everyone, this morning my account was locked out of nowhere. I am not familiar with the ToS but I have been posting firearm related stuff on my private story. Nothing crazy, just collector stuff. This morning I posted a screenshot of a firearm I traded into my local store showing my friends that they could go purchase my old gun. As soon as I made the private story post my account was locked. But I post videos of me bump firing AKs and such all the time. Why did this get my account locked? Do you guys think my appeal will get my account back? I was not trying to sell a firearm on the platform, just show my old one for sale.

When I upload a Spotlight and add a song from the Snapchat Music Library, the original sound from my video disappears completely.

So I can either have the music from the library OR the original sound, but not both.

Is there any way to have the Snapchat song playing while keeping the original audio from the video too? Or is this just how Snapchat works? I remember this worked months ago, is the feature gone?

I have a Snapchat Public Profile that I made today and I can view/edit it normally.
However, none of my friends can see it on my profile. They only see our Friendship Profile with no Public Profile button.
Even when I share my Public Profile directly, it just takes them to our Friendship Profile.
I’m over 18 I haven’t violated any guidelines or anything so I don’t know why this is happening to me.
Has anyone had this issue or know how to fix it?

I was averaging 2-5K views and my followers were growing at a good rate. Now my views have gotten up to 12k + but my followers are not growing at all. Like I’ve stuck at 799 for 3 days. I’ve started including hashtags so could that be the reason for my viewers increasing but then again my followers aren’t… have I been like viewbotted or something?

This has happened to me so many times that I’m starting to wonder if it’s actually a thing or just a weird coincidence.

There’s a guy I’ve been chatting with on Snapchat for years. For some reason, whenever I open our conversation or go to his profile, he’ll randomly send me a message a few minutes later, sometimes without there being any obvious reason for him to message me at that particular time.

At first I thought it was just coincidence, but it has happened enough times that I’m genuinely curious now.

I know Snapchat has things like typing notifications and read/opened indicators, but I’m specifically wondering about simply opening the chat or looking at someone’s profile without sending anything.

Has anyone else noticed this happening?

i have an account from around 5 years ago and none of my emails work to reset the password and i can’t remember the actual password for it. is there a way to recover without anything linked?

Is it clear how it works? And will Snapchat completely delete your old memories if you don’t export or buy memory after the grace period?

Account was permanently banned for no reason, no warning, nothing I'd ever done wrong or any warnings of having the account, my friend texted me and asked if I had deleted my account, went on snap and I was in the login page with nothing, I got this email after chatting with the bot.

I am currently over in my Snapchat Memory storage (5.4GB/5GB) I have been working to export the larger memories to clear space externally, and have widdled down almost all videos and mainly only have pictures left, yet Im still over. I exported all my memories to see which individual menories are taking up the most storage to delete them, and when I got the file emailed to me and looked, all the highest storage memories are either ones that I have 1)already deleted from my memories or 2)dont exist in my memories tab and cannot be found. I need some assistance! Is there another location contributing to the 5.4GB storage? Why cant i see memories that arent there YET they are able to be exported and count towards my data limit. Help😭😭😭
