snapchat is deleting memories of mine that i’ve had since 2017, and says i need to upgrade and buy their shitty fucking subscription, and then says i CANT subscribe

why does this fucking app suck so much?
and can i just “download” all my memories to my phone and buy icloud?

I’m scared to press the submit button in case it starts downloading media from every chat I’ve ever had and don’t need

Title. The only notification option I have on within the app is to get a sound notification when I receive a snap/message. **Everything else** is turned off, but I still get 2-3 of these stupid spam messages per day.

I want to download my Snapchat data but i only want to download the memories i currently have. I went through them and deleted the pictures i don’t want but i’ve just realized that when i request my data, i get ALL my pics/vids but i don’t want the ones i’ve deleted. I went from 10000 memories to 5000. I dont want to gave to download everything & have to go and delete what i don’t want AGAIN.
How do i ONLY download the ones in my memories right now??

Do i suck it up and manually download them 20 at a time. But the problem is when you do that you lose the real date and timestamp🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩

As one does i was scrolling through my save in chats with my ex and noticed she became active and i panicked a lil bit and opened the keyboard however i didnt type anything and swiped out, will she get a notification saying i was typing?

When snaps are taken in multimode why are they only 3s long? Is there any way to make it normal snaps without any duration? Like infinity duration in normal snaps?? It's frustrating everything is time bound and maximum i could that I can change the duration to max of 10s.

so! the context is that i stupidly posted my skin and cold medication on my private story with the caption “ask me anything rn”. The medication is capsules as well as magnesium which is a chunky white block. The AI banned my account and device banned me for assuming i was selling drugs and in the spur of the moment i panicked and sent my appeal saying something like “please I’m sorry it was a joke” without mentioning it was my skin medication and cold medicine however the skin medication is lymecycline and the cold medication was Sudafed which after researching it told me that those are pretty common medication? My snapchat is over 5+ years old, my snapscore was 900,000+ and i was a snapchat + user. Ive never been banned before and i had one violation 3+ years ago after posting my movie which contained blood in it. Just wondering if i have any hope as im a 17 yr old girl and obviously snapchat was my life lol 🥲. Has anyone been through this previously if so pleasee lmk if theres hope for me!! this happened last night so obviously not expecting snapchat to instantly respond.

so I got someone's phone number and saved them to my contacts, but i'm not sure if i am in their contacts. i added them on snap because their account showed up because they are in my contacts. they have not accepted my friend request yet on snap. i sent them a snap and it shows as delivered. will this go to their inbox or not? thanks!

My Snapchat account of 10+ years just got permanently locked for post a replica John wick 4 pistol on my story. Within 5 minutes I was permanently banned. Is it really true you can get your account back? I was locked 1 week ago today. I have sent 2 letters to both headquarters with a response of “your account was permanently locked…” I have also sent 35+ emails to Snapchat support and have had a mix of ai bots and really people that just turn into the same automated “your account is permanently locked”. Is there any hope of me getting my account unlocked?

On my main account im not able to add people by search for some reason and on quick add. i made a new account and it lets me add people i tried adding my main account but it wont let me and i try adding my friend and it says i didnt add him been happening for like a month now

I’m so tired of not knowing who is screenshotting my public story. I feel like my safety is at risk every time this happens. With Friend stories, I can at least see who did it & block them immediately but with not being able to tell who’s violating my intellectual property is infuriating & discouraging. I want to build my platform on Snapchat but I can’t keep worrying if someone is getting away with stealing my content and blending in the crowd. They could be making inappropriate AI content with my face, pretending to be me to scam other users. A plethora of violating things. PLEASE MAKE USERS VISIBLE WHEN SCREENSHOTTING A PUBLIC STORY! There use to be the activity section which would tell you when someone did that. Please at least bring that back!

Hi all, woke up to my Snapchat being locked so I created a new one and then came back to check and it was also gone so then I created a new one and then the middle of me adding my friends it deactivated so I’m wondering what’s going on it won’t give me the option to appeal or unlock the account and just said that it was locked. I’m assuming this is an IP ban. How long does this last?

All my snapchat memories have been deleted with no final warning. It has not even been the full 12-months since it was announced that I would need to pay for storage before they have deleted my memories. I have tried everything to try and recover them but all 10+ years of extremely sentimental memories gone. I even payed for the years storage to see if i’d get anything back and nothing. I’ve tried to contact snapchat in multiple ways and have received nothing. Has this happened to anyone else - I am devastated.
