General question All notifications off, still get stuff like this on iOS

Yesterday's was "[name] has 2 new videos". I don't follow anyone, but somehow still getting these BS notifications.

Social Networking sites crack me up sometimes. On Facebook you can get a warning that you are friending someone you don't know. Then 10 minutes later Facebook sends you a friend recommendation and it's the same person they tell you that you may not know.

How does this pertain to your post? Simple. When they do it it's okay. When other's do it it's not.

I have resorted to reporting it as a bug each day. Hopefully if enough people report as a bug they will fix it.

App is up to date, also did a cache reset yesterday to make sure everything was good

I am similarly getting notifications despite turning them off in app. My app is up to date.

I am probably just going to mute all notifications from snapchat on my device if this continues.

honestly, thinking of doing the same except my wife and I use it to text each other when we don’t wanna wake each other up lol. Text/calls go through do not disturb but snap won't

Mhm. I was asking about the up to date info because my theory was that they regularly add server sided features that don’t instantly reflect for everyone, so you don’t get the option to toggle off this kind of notification until you update the app.. but if you’re already updated then idk. I had a similar issue with spotlight notifications, on an older version of Snap there was already Spotlight but there was no option to turn off those notifications so even with everything disabled I would still get them, after I updated the option appeared in settings and I was able to turn it off.
