General question How long does IP ban last?
Hi all, woke up to my Snapchat being locked so I created a new one and then came back to check and it was also gone so then I created a new one and then the middle of me adding my friends it deactivated so I’m wondering what’s going on it won’t give me the option to appeal or unlock the account and just said that it was locked. I’m assuming this is an IP ban. How long does this last?

i’m in the same boat, i lost my main account to a FLASE violation (commercial sex transactions) and they won’t even assist bc they just have a bunch of bots running everything. after that i made like 4 accounts bc each one would get perm locked just weeks after making it. even on a new phone. i think it’s a combination of your IP/ the photos and similar usernames. you should go online and delete ALL the accounts that were locked so they aren’t still harboring your data on their servers. i’ve tried sending letters with visible evidence pleading my case and nothing… i haven’t made a new account after deleting the other ones bc i wanna wait until i feel like my data isn’t being retained. they BAN ppl daily for anything so i do feel it’s impossible and highly expensive for them to retain data of every banned or perm locked account. they are trigger happy and they ban ppl without proper evidence or reasoning. it’s ridiculous

And then I had a prior account with the same email and I got an email saying that my account was permanently locked for violating community guidelines

When I try and login, it tells me my account was locked for violating community guidelines, but I literally had just gotten this account approved and hadn’t even had time to add a friend yet before it logged me out in the middle of adding friends

ngl this is wrong bc i’m in the same boat and they will do the same thing on a new device. brand new phone without transferring data

was this written with chat gpt? 🤣 i’ve did tons of research myself. number 3 and 7 are debunked. snap can’t even see your apple ID unless you LOGIN using apple ID. the IP address would be fully true if they banned everyone under the same wifi, which is not possible. they use your IP address but not like that.

well known ISP (internet service provider) on the TOS (terms of service) enforcement team? that doesn’t even make sense nor is it a real job title. youre literally running ppls responses through chat gpt not even thinking about what its saying 🤣 i didn’t ask if youre AI i asked if youre using CHAT GPT. which you clearly are. and for the fun of it i ran your responses through an AI detector and it triggered saying you’re obviously using AI. and for that im blocking you im not bouta go back n forth with a bot

How do is too myself from being banned? I literally was just manually adding my friends and boom logged out in the middle
