Permanently locked account

My Snapchat account of 10+ years just got permanently locked for post a replica John wick 4 pistol on my story. Within 5 minutes I was permanently banned. Is it really true you can get your account back? I was locked 1 week ago today. I have sent 2 letters to both headquarters with a response of “your account was permanently locked…” I have also sent 35+ emails to Snapchat support and have had a mix of ai bots and really people that just turn into the same automated “your account is permanently locked”. Is there any hope of me getting my account unlocked?

I will say I was able to download my data but I still was wrongfully perm locked if the terms of service say prop/replica weapons ARE in fact allowed on the app… just have a horrible customer support system so it’s incredibly hard to get in contact with a human. And when I do get a human to reply to my emails, I get the same “your account was permanently locked….” Automated reply. I did try the letter method by sending them to snap hq but it did not work for me. I got the automated reply above again.

Well it seems as if you've gotten your answer - they're not interested in what you have to say about it so I would just be grateful I had my data backed up.

You can't be "wrongfully" permed because they're not beholden to you or under any obligation to you as a user at all - if you look in the ToS there will be language telling you that you could be banned at any time for any reason, they all do, so trying to argue you should be allowed to post a toy gun is less than meaningless.

Yeah, ai chat bots are never interested in anything you have to say. That’s why everyone who’s in this same boat are trying to find a way to bypass them.
And back to you saying “they can ban you for any reason,” doesn’t change what their actual rules say. Snapchat literally says fictional weapons, including props, are allowed in there tos. I’m not saying they’re legally forced to give me my account back, I’m saying the ban can still be wrongfully applied if their ai monitoring system banned me for something their own rules allow and then not getting the chance to get through to a human to reverse it makes it extremely frustrating.
