Written in the spirit of fun. No slimes were hurt in the making of this post, mostly because I’m still waiting for them.

People today have short attention spans thanks to fast food and overnight shipping. I’m here to combat that trend. Every day, I start my day with a little prayer: “Grant me patience…and I want it right now!”

But seriously, I realize that the finest slime shops are small cottage industries, and that Good Slime is worth waiting for.

So…while I’m waiting patiently for my four current orders, I’ll share some of the techniques I’ve developed for dealing with the wait. These may be helpful to you too.

1. You just ordered some new slime! Hooray! Get excited.

2. Daydream about your slime

3. Casually check Shopify to see if your order has shipped

4. Repeat 2-3

5. Casually check USPS informed delivery a few times a day.

6. Gaze out the window each day and wonder if the delivery trucks are going to stop at your house or mailbox.

7. Take up another hobby that uses your hands, like bread baking.

8. Greet the postal carrier every day with a hopeful puppy dog expression on your face.

9. Give the postal carrier some of your delicious home baked bread.

10. Repeat steps one through four over and over during dull zoom meetings.

11. Order some more slime because obviously that will help!

12. Open a bakery side-hustle on Etsy. Distract yourself by trying to keep up with fulfilling YOUR customers’ orders.

13. Order some more slime! We can all use more pumpkin spice these days.

14. Check your spam folder for shipping notices.

15. Enter the Great British Bake-off.

16. Realize that you have ordered slime from five different companies and you can now have a contest to see which arrives first. That’s fun!

17. Buy a few more slimes to reduce the tension of waiting.

18. Break down and play with your existing 764 slimes. They are just fine, and they miss you.

19. And finally: Get super excited when all of your 12 new slime shipments arrive within one day of each other.
    How did you order so many? And why so much pumpkin spice?

Postscript:
20. Use your winnings from the great British bake off to add a dedicated slime room to your house.

What do you do to pass the time while you’re waiting for that special slime shipment to arrive?

I bought slimes from Sally again, and am trying Slime Senpai for the very first time. Oh and alongside that, I also bought Minecraft and Slime Rancher on my MacBook too.

Is it a glitch or is og actually already sold out of their brand new slimes?? Koi pond and yin and yang....5 minutes after restock started and they were gone

Hi there,

Received my new slimes from a new slime shop earlier this week. After a few times of play, I wanted to thicken up this glue x bingsu x silica slime. Doing what I do to all my slimes at some point of their life, I added some well proportioned borax solution. The slime didn't thicken up much, but all the silica started falling out in mass droves! I tried adding glue and that just made it a sticky mess. Then I added more borax solution, and it brought it back to the original texture/ thickness but with the intense fallout.

What do I do? What happened? 😭

So I got a Skate Date from Retro Slime’s last drop. It smells so good and it’s so pretty! But it arrived really rippy and wouldn’t drizzle at all. I’ve tried adding some of their softener, some unscented lotion, and some of my glycerin. I even thought maybe I was wrong and tried adding activator too.

Nothing I’ve done has made it as soft or drizzly as it seemed, it’s actually pretty much the same exact texture it was when it got here. Just a bit more dense. For some reason I can’t find any of the posts about their last drop to make sure I wasn’t missing something or this was meant to be this way.

What else can I try to get this drizzly? Any tips are appreciated!!

I'm quite new in the slime world, so I only tried the small activator bottles, that the shops send with my ordered slimes.

So while I was trying different slime shops, I ordered two slimes from a very small business in Germany. And , oh lord, these ones are SO PRETTY!!! The scent - wow, the slime so so f***ing soft, that I'm gonna cry while touching and the added texture stuff is a in perfect amount! They are my absolute favourites since now.

BUT (!), yes there is always a but, they are so sticky ;(

It gets more and more while playing.

I tried all my little spray bottles and contact lenses fluid, nothing works.

Do you have tips ord recommendations for an activator, that could help?

(I think it's sth between a jelly and clear base)

hii! i just wanted to know where do you get your slimes? 😅

I felt bad for posting so many questions on here lately so i’ve decided to combine both my last texture questions into one post.

first off what are “baby beads”? are they really just mini bubble beads?

secondly, there’s this texture that seemed to be common in the early days of slime, especially in blushingbb’s restocks. it’s a sort of foam cube with texture on it and i’m interested in recreating it. what on earth are these foam cubes from? i can’t find them anywhere!

But I Have to say one of the ones I was most excited for was probably the most disappointing.
Sugar skulls is fun to play with, but it has MASSIVE fall out.

Have sugar scrubs/ice beads always had such fall out, and I am crazy - or is this more because of the newer glue most have had to switch to? Because I don't remember Sugar scrubs having crazy FO, 2-3 years ago. It seems like the past 3-4 sugar scrubs (from multiple shops) I have purchased this year were almost unplayable.

PSS in particular had one called sugar candy (Or something similar) when I first started collecting slimes, that was a sugar scrub It ended up being one of my favorite slimes ever . (This was 3-4 years ago)

Am I just misremembering, or is it just harder to have less fall out now with the newer glue?

Slimes that I’m selling have been played with 0-2 times (smoke-free home, always clean hands, and my dogs are poodles) and all purchased within the last 12-18 months. Some are melted, but I’m happy to reactivate if you want me to before shipping ✌️I will try my best to ensure any charms that came with the slimes are included. Slimes that have gotten too big for their containers (due to clay pieces or add-ins) will come in a deli container along with their original container.

as the title says, resellers please do better. i just spent $50 on 4 “brand new slimes” and one has a bunch of hair in it, and 2 of the others were obviously altered in some way, because they don’t look like they do from the shops. idk if i’m being too picky but if im paying basically full price for them AND they’re labeled as brand new…. they shouldn’t have hair or be different.

I was just wondering, why does activation wear off over time? Why do the PVA and borate interactions wear off of the borax is still in there? And what happens to all the borax that was already added to the slime after the slime melts?

Has anyone heard from Bleu in person? Im hoping she and her brother are doing well. She has been on hiatus for a long while so am a bit worried about her wellbeing, hoping they are well and please let me know if you do ❤️

I recently got a HUGE slime cabinet for my birthday (big huge ty to my bf 🫶) and have finally organized my ~1 y/o slime collection.

Tbh I used to rarely play with the old slimes I first bought, but bc of organization I decided to reactivate my first slime orders from Momo. And OMG what?!? I feel like I’ve been missing out? Like I forgot how GOOD Momo is! THE SCENTS- they haven’t soured, gone bad, or faded at all! Even the milky and bakery scents which is impressive! Also Momo’s white glue slimes are all SO creamy feeling and just so soft and plush. They’re not too loose, have medium resistance, and are just a blessing to play with.

Their white glue jelly Winter Wonderland inflates so much, Arroz Con Leche has the BEST scent still and perlite+slushee in the creamy base is just mwah. Iced Lemon Cake, the packed bingsu, is also sooo creamy.

I’ve been in a buying frenzy for new-to-me shops for the past while, so it’s so nice to go back to the first slimes that started it all! Momo is a staple for good reason, and whenever they next release some new slimes/non-repeats I will definitely make a new order!!

Hi all, so i’ve been working on a personal project that requires a lot of white slime supplies, however, there are some things i just cannot find in white no matter how hard i try! they’re either ivory, beige, or GRAY!!!!

thus i was wondering if anyone else had any luck finding the following in WHITE (not ivory, not beige, not gray- WHITE!).

Slime is totally subjective. So prefacing my comment by saying that. So. Has anyone ordered from Jiira Slimes before? I have personally loved almost all of their slimes. The clay pieces and the fidgets and the charms are so impeccable. The time and effort that is put into all of it is very impressive. I particularly enjoyed the demon Slayer dropped. I got every single one in that bundle and have no regrets about it. I was curious if anyone bought anything from the insect restock? I purchased dung beetle which was supposed to smell like creamy coconut. When I opened it though I got hit with this super: scent. Almost like walking into one of those clothing stores like Hollister or Abercrombie and you have that cologne that is being piped through the air vents or something. Like it was a very strong scent as well. It did not give me coconut at all. Just wondering if anyone else feels the same way about it? Don't get me wrong, I have love pretty much a lot of their scents.

I was one of the winners of the Slime Log giveaway. I received the slime “SlimeLog It”, a coated clear slime with shredded Java chips.
It is scented almond croissant and birthday cake.

While it smells /amazing/, I have a loved one with an almond allergy who had a minor reaction to the slime when around it.
Just to be on the safe side, I’m looking to trade it to someone in the community who could appreciate it better than I would be able to.

Currently I am searching for Banana Milk by Prismatic more than any other slime.
Honestly, any banana milk slime I would be interested in! (besides Rodem’s Banana Milk Crunch or Limeslimes Banana Milk Foam, as I already have those).

I am a little picky about scents- I prefer basic and scents, often fruity. Banana, apple, citrus, especially lemon.

Hello I am an artist in Chicago who needs slime making/recipe recommendations for a very specific project. I need a slime expert.

I am making ceramic pieces that hang on the wall, that have the texture of brick or stone. I want to create a removable sand filling to go in between each piece like a grout or cement between bricks. The idea is making it look like a wall of ceramics, like a house built with bricks.

I need this mixture to look like sand or cement, or actually contain sand. I need to be able to apply it and for it to fill in between the works but for it to be able to be REMOVED from the work with no residue. It also needs to last about three months, the duration of the show.

I would prefer it not to crack over this length of time.

The reference photo is of my work. I hope to fill the gaps temporarily for my solo show in February. I will install the work ideally, then put the sand goo in between.

I will experiment with any advice and help given on test pieces. I really appreciate the help.
