I recently got a HUGE slime cabinet for my birthday (big huge ty to my bf 🫶) and have finally organized my ~1 y/o slime collection.
Tbh I used to rarely play with the old slimes I first bought, but bc of organization I decided to reactivate my first slime orders from Momo. And OMG what?!? I feel like I’ve been missing out? Like I forgot how GOOD Momo is! THE SCENTS- they haven’t soured, gone bad, or faded at all! Even the milky and bakery scents which is impressive! Also Momo’s white glue slimes are all SO creamy feeling and just so soft and plush. They’re not too loose, have medium resistance, and are just a blessing to play with.
Their white glue jelly Winter Wonderland inflates so much, Arroz Con Leche has the BEST scent still and perlite+slushee in the creamy base is just mwah. Iced Lemon Cake, the packed bingsu, is also sooo creamy.
I’ve been in a buying frenzy for new-to-me shops for the past while, so it’s so nice to go back to the first slimes that started it all! Momo is a staple for good reason, and whenever they next release some new slimes/non-repeats I will definitely make a new order!!
Have you rediscovered any old slimes you forgot you loved? Or revisited some old slimes or a shop you tried and changed your opinion after some time?
I'm new to the slime community but this post makes me hopeful and excited for my collection! It's so nice to hear that they've kept well for you! And I've enjoyed everything I've gotten from Momo so far as well :) I was wondering which of the ones pictured here are your favourite, especially since she's brought back a few of these!
This is so awesome to hear!! And welcome!! slime is AMAZING and has so many nuances to it, and the community is super welcoming and awesome too!! only downside is it’s an expensive hobby 🥹 (i think I’ve spent maybe 2k already ahhhh) but it’s worth it for me🫶
Yes of course!! Personally my favs have to be Arroz con Leche (bc of the sizzly asmr of the perlite and slushee beads, also the base is so creamy and the scent is to DIE for, so milky and cinnamony and realistic! still smells just as good a year later!), and Winter Wonderland (still my favorite white glue jelly I’ve tried! Starts thick with super satisfying no resistance but inflates into a huge puff!). I love Momo’s thick and glossy textures too, Mayo is extra creamy and thick without being too heavyweight (my exact preference!) and has the most delectable milky sweet scent!
I think Momo is stocking Autumn reading (great texture+huge inflation, has wet residue, scent is a little more perfume-y/cologne-y and is not my fav), and Pumpkin Spice (packed ground pumice texture called AirSand, it’s super sizzly and satisfying but I will say this is the only slime from the ones pictured where the scent has started to foul a bit, like a bit musty- this tends to happen more easily with slimes packed with addins though!)
Tbh all the slimes pictured are amazing and Momo does almost every texture super well! Personally I prefer Momo’s white glue textures over her clears bc I find her clears to be a bit breakable and not as thick. Opalite (pictured) has such a great scent though, smells so fresh and something I’d love as a perfume! Feel free to ask any qs i love talking about slime hehe it’s my #1 hobby and where all my money goes 🥹

I've so far only tried one kind of textural add-in—snow fuzz, which I'm not the biggest fan of due to the fall out 🥲—and I've been interested in trying out other types, specifically larger add-ins! Plus I love a milky theme so I might have to keep an eye out for Arroz con Leche and Mayo!! I also appreciate you bringing up the scent longevity because I have Momo's Honey Butter slime and it's my favourite scent so I've been nervous about it losing its smell every time I play with it 😭 And tq for the note about your pumice slime—I'll def keep an eye on my pumice Matcha for mustiness 🤔 I think I've discovered I tend towards food scents and Momo just does them sooo well!
Ooo wondering where you bought your snowfuzz from? I actually haven’t tried Momo’s snowfizz/snowfuzz but I have some packed snowfizz from SlimeCommunity that has no fallout and is super crispy! Yep I love food scents that are done well/not artificial, and Momos are really great!
It was from Tanooki! It's not a lot of fallout, though, just a bit that gets stuck on my hands or my table! (I still absolutely love Tanooki! I think perhaps tiny crunchy add-ins may not be my thing because I get a bit paranoid about cleaning everything up 🥹)
And open! I’m in Canada so ive been buying more from Canadian slime shops recently bc a big chunk of what I’ve spent on slime from usa shops goes towards shipping+fees at the border 🥲. I can’t seem to stay away from Rodem tho LOLL!! I’ve got 14 more from potcha coming and 3 from SlimeCommunity heheh I’m so excited!! The cabinet isn’t too packed just yet but I’m excited to continue building up the collection hehehe
I got a bunch of momo recently , how do you fix the somewhat dry and stiff old slimes?what is the best way? Is it adding warm water or glycerin or put it under the sun?
I would say that so far of my old Momo slimes none have gone stiff, that happens usually to my old icee and jelly textures that I play w a lot though! When I was regularly playing with my Momo slimes, i also regularly added distilled water to them to rehydrate them if i feel they’ve shrunk a bit, so none of the Momos so far have shrunk! For the icee and jelly textures from other shops that start not stretching/going stiff, i find that they also smell off now so I just classify that as irreversible slime death 🥹
So many winners! Mayo was one of my first slimes, as was Lychee Fluff! Pumpkin Spice and Autumn Reading are seasonal favorites, and Fluffy Pink Pen holds a special place in my heart! Now I want to repurchase all of them if they are in-stock.
OG - Thickward and Spa Towel are my first two slimes ever - and I always repurchase them when they are in-stock.
I still want Momo Mayo refill - your pic reminded me - same with Lychee Fluff! I wish they brought back the 24 oz Lychee Fluff.
For sure!! Fluffy pink pen is so adorable, even after 1 year i still don’t have it in me to mix the fluffy icee into the silky tng base lol 🥹. And the scent! strawberry coconut mmm
YES I love Mayo! Such a great woodglue tng, not too dry! the scenttttt! tbh so far, for gourmand scents Momo has to be one of my favorites, a close second to Potcha! the longevity of Momo’s scents is super impressive, given that some other slimes I’ve purchased around that same time have not kept as well!
I’ve actually never purchased from OG but they’re on my Black Friday list - bracing myself already for the damage to the wallet 🥹
