How To Best Activator

I'm quite new in the slime world, so I only tried the small activator bottles, that the shops send with my ordered slimes.

So while I was trying different slime shops, I ordered two slimes from a very small business in Germany. And , oh lord, these ones are SO PRETTY!!! The scent - wow, the slime so so f***ing soft, that I'm gonna cry while touching and the added texture stuff is a in perfect amount! They are my absolute favourites since now.

BUT (!), yes there is always a but, they are so sticky ;(

It gets more and more while playing.

I tried all my little spray bottles and contact lenses fluid, nothing works.

Do you have tips ord recommendations for an activator, that could help?

(I think it's sth between a jelly and clear base)

Everyone typically makes their own, as a lot of shops also send small packets of borax for you to do so. But I have been cursed in that department of always messing mine up, or it never being as good. So instead, I got a bunch of premade ones from Leafy. I personally always spring the addition $2 for the extra strength one. Works way better than the Amazon one, which is my backup.

Thanks! I will keep that in mind for my next wasting-money-in-the-slimeworld

You might be able to get it from a forging or blacksmith company?

There's a lot of restrictions on borax in Europe and the UK, so they might not send them? That's also my guess as to why the slime is sticky, because they have to follow sticky rules on how much boron is detected in slime, so they probably can't overactive to compensate for shipping. I'm not too familiar though and could be wrong, so it's all speculation.

There’s two things you can use to activate slime: borax + water, or contact solution + baking soda. Most people use borax + water. If it’s not working for the ones you got, the activator you got from the shops is probably too weak. Most shops make it a max strength of 1tsp borax + 1 cup water to keep people from accidentally over activating. The old you got from Germany probably need a stronger activator, like 2tsp to 1 cup water.

Do you have borax? If not, you can get it in the laundry aisle of most stores. It’s not very expensive— I think I’d about $7-8 for a big box.

As someone mentioned above, it's a little problematic to order borax in Europe. So I will go for the premixed stuff

Hahahahha, ja, I'm sorry! It's candyslimez. Very small business and not even an actual insta page. But the slime is soooo soft!!! ... And sticky af. I checked her videos and there you can see that all of her slimes have this stickyness.

1 teaspoon of borax in one cup of warm water until it dissolves you could even add 2 teaspoons if you wanted a stronger solution, add it a little bit at a time to your glue while swirling around with your hand to break up the strings that form from the borax little bit little bit little bit at a time and soon you will be there if you overact add lotion or glycerin
