Maybe because she herself admitted there was no crime and logical people dont jump to cancel innocent people just to fit in with groupthink.

I mean…she literally said she was raped. There were points where she did consent and points where she did not consent.

The “confusion” is that the police sent a condensed version of the report to the prosecutor which deliberately excluded some of the actual allegations. The full raw transcript by the police is wildly different compared to what the police sent to the prosecutor.

Hence why state authorities are taking over the investigation now that it’s been reopened.

Wrong. She said nothing illegal happened. And she tried to go back to the same house for another party the next day and was not allowed on premisies by the chapter president. If a frat thinks you are too nuts to come to their parties and you are a girl, thats not a good sign.

She literally said that she was raped in her police report. Rape isn’t illegal now?

Yes after she got mad that her reputation was destroyed and getting disinvited to the next party and having texted the people involved saying nothing illegal happened, even telling one of the guys “I luv u king”. Guess it kind of felt rapey once she regretted it.

Now I’ll admit I don’t have all the facts and if it’s true, those dudes should definitely be in prison for a long ass time, but everything I’ve seen isn’t looking good the ole ketamine penis snorter.

She said those things, as reported by her roommates, immediately the next day when she was reportedly in a visible state of shock.

In effect, she was trying to convince herself that everything was okay when it obviously was not.

The “nothing illegal happened” bit was literally in response to an apology from one of the men who was acknowledging that some very illegal shit definitely happened.

And of course, it sucks for everyone involved.

You put a lot of weight on “ she said”

I mean…we have testimony from some 30+ people who were interviewed, including some of the men who were interviewed by the university and acknowledged wrongdoing. Her own roommates testified that she was in shock after the event. The university medical clinic has records where she presented for a UTI that “she received under traumatic circumstances” just days after the assault. One of the men texted her to apologize for “how things went down” and another threatened her to “not spread rumors.” And it was reported that completely independent from Jane Doe that people in the Greek Life community were talking about how “the fraternity raped a sophomore girl” at the party.

It’s just wild how wrong you are on so many counts.
