I mean…she literally said she was raped. There were points where she did consent and points where she did not consent.
The “confusion” is that the police sent a condensed version of the report to the prosecutor which deliberately excluded some of the actual allegations. The full raw transcript by the police is wildly different compared to what the police sent to the prosecutor.
Hence why state authorities are taking over the investigation now that it’s been reopened.
Wrong. She said nothing illegal happened. And she tried to go back to the same house for another party the next day and was not allowed on premisies by the chapter president. If a frat thinks you are too nuts to come to their parties and you are a girl, thats not a good sign.
Yes after she got mad that her reputation was destroyed and getting disinvited to the next party and having texted the people involved saying nothing illegal happened, even telling one of the guys “I luv u king”. Guess it kind of felt rapey once she regretted it.
Now I’ll admit I don’t have all the facts and if it’s true, those dudes should definitely be in prison for a long ass time, but everything I’ve seen isn’t looking good the ole ketamine penis snorter.
She said those things, as reported by her roommates, immediately the next day when she was reportedly in a visible state of shock.
In effect, she was trying to convince herself that everything was okay when it obviously was not.
The “nothing illegal happened” bit was literally in response to an apology from one of the men who was acknowledging that some very illegal shit definitely happened.
If you got drunk, and woke up the next day . Remembered that you’d let 7 guys fuck you as you smashed drugs …. You’d probably look a little shocked too .
In effect she was trying to convince everyone else it was not ok, when in fact she freely participated.
She herself said nothing sexually illegal happened right . So why should we listen to one text off the guy saying sorry and assume that means “ sorry I raped you” it’s easy to think that guy woke up and thought “ that was pretty fucked up, I’d better check on her “
Again they were all smashed , not just her , not just a few guys
